why does software even listen to 2 clicks within the space of 0.000000001 micro seconds anyway?? who is going to actually double click that fast? the answer is nobody, nobody clicks that fast

Personally, there is a brand that offers an 80m version. These for sure are not making the 10m claim. I'd guess maybe 2-3m at most.

Sand down where the metal click connects on each one as well. They corrode over time and you'll get a faulty signal, sanding the connection points down prevents this.

these guys helped me when OneDrive messed up all my game save files moving them into my documents in the wrong folders, and I couldn't figure out the unique location for each game file. Fortunately this site shows save data locations for each game in my library, turning years of searching into a few hours to fix. Saved my ass.

I found a comment on another video regarding the double click. No need to bend the strip of copper. Most of the time, it's the oxidize copper rust that's causing the issue. Ergo, all you need to do is clean the contact point and it shouls fix the double clicking

thank you so much for this guide despite being almost a decade old. it looked intimidating to perform and it is to a degree. gotta be delicate and gentle, but you made it look simple and that gave me the confidence to try and fix my Glorious Model O. it is functioning like brand new again, till next time it happens again. very satisfied

Solved my left clicking on the G103, it's clicking like new again. The zoomed in video is very helpful especially on putting that copper part back. I did not do the bending though, just cleaned the blackish residue on the copper part surface with alcohol swab. So thank yooou.

You are a legend my friend. This works 100% and saved me from replacing my absurdly expensive Razer Pro Click. It changes how your click feels but I actually preferred how it felt afterwards. I'll take a different click over a buggy mouse any day!

From my experience the contact is either dirty or just poor quality material. If you have electronics cleaner I would that first before bending the plate. I have a logitech with basic omron switches and I put just a tiny amount of Ballistol (lubricant/cleaner) on the contact and it fixed my double clicking.

While this does work, I will say even with my intermediate tech abilities, getting this reseated properly was a pain in the ass. I'd probably be inclined to buy an entire switch and desolder the old, solder in the new in the future.
