I was having severe FOMO during Covid in Philadelphia and after watching your video about moving to TX, i boarded a flight to DFW, checked out all the northern suburbs and settled here in Aubrey(Arrowbrooke)...your insights were extremely helpful....i dont have to pay Frisco price but i am 20 mins from Frisco so can swing by anytime for all the nice things Frisco & PGA has to offer...also i am not worried about school district...sending kids to private school !
We just leased one of the Urban Garages! All of the talk about 380 has me a little worried! We are moving our business to the area.
Texas taxes weather and insurance will kill you.
I'll leave you with a video suggestion: rental prices in Dallas according to points of interest, for example universities, schools, hospitals, etc. I believe there would be several videos.
We appreciate the feedback!
Anyone local will tell you to avoid 380 at all cost. Half your life will be lost in traffic and accidents.
I think most will agree with you on that!!
ive 100 percent gotten CHUCKED off that zip line before 😭 10/10 humbling experience
😂it got me too 🤦🏼♂️
lol.. 315 gs in Denver is a bit old house,, complaining about 300 gs for a brand new house in Dallas?
One of the main reasons we may move to Texas is because of conservative values and keeping crime lower! Hoping it stays that way to attract the next generation of families so outs can come there also.
So far Texas is leading the way! Let’s hope it stays that way!

Old Frisco was way better
What are the things you love about Old Frisco?
I used to live in the apartments right where that collision center is being built. I don’t understand how the city is allowing this growth while 380 construction is ongoing. I just know construction workers are pissed. I’ve seen some horrible accidents in the roughly 9 months I was there. Great information, though I would hate to live off that stretch again until road improvements are completed.
The chick fil a at the Whole Foods is already there and open
Great news! What’s your favorite food there?
380 is a nightmare. I avoid it at all costs. Cool video.
It’s pretty bad
Great information.
Thank you! Where do you live now?
@LIVINGINDALLAS I live in North Dakota, but I visited Little Elm and Frisco in 2019. I liked that area, but I'm always undecided because of the heat in Texas. My wife is from Fort Worth, and every summer we always come down there, except this year I went to visit Austin to see if I should plan to consider the north of Dallas or Austin. I have been watching your videos for years now, and hopefully one day I'll reach out for help if we decide to move there. Thank you for your time, and keep up the fantastic work.
They need to expand the 380 and fix the traffic issues before adding more homes and businesses... It's a mess over there
Yes, it's bad! And to your point: Ideally, yes! But in reality, they need to see significant demand first, so the homes usually come before any plans to develop new roads or improve existing ones.
It sure is a mess on 380!
You missed urban value corner store in downtown Plano
Oh yes! Thanks for pointing that out.
Don’t forget 120 degrees in the sun, horrible traffic, and small lots. Are those statistics?
Thanks for tuning in! Where do you live now, just to get an idea of where you're coming from?
Yikes...seams like moving to Texas is way way more than i thought 😢. Thank u for the vid.
Contemplating a move to Texas? Where are you coming from?
@@LIVINGINDALLAS Honolulu
Aloha! You're literally in paradise! So yeah, convincing you to move to Texas would be a lot more difficult! Ahaha, cheers!
Wow! This was a lot of information but helped me understand the neighborhoods.
Glad it was helpful!
First!🎉
Congratulation! welcome back 😊
I love my home state of Texas we retired & live in a 3 acres land in a very nice neighborhood just 2 hrs drive north of Houston it’s quite no traffic life is good ❤
Thank you for sharing! It sounds like you have a wonderfully planned out retirement. Peaceful neighborhood with no traffic!. Life really does sound good! ❤
In Dallas right now anything below $350,000 that I keep seeing is complete shit.
Shoot me a text and we can show you some good options for that price! 214-441-6684
Texas may be powerful. But it’s full of people who don’t respect the first amendment.
Hi there! thanks for tuning in. I respectfully disagree with the statement that Texas is full of people who don't respect the First Amendment. Texas, like any other state, has a diverse population with a wide range of views and beliefs. The commitment to free speech and other First Amendment rights is evident in many Texans' active engagement in political discourse, community activism, and the defense of civil liberties. While there may be individuals or groups who challenge these rights, it is not accurate or fair to generalize this behavior to the entire population of the state. Where do you live now?

I always make sure where I move has a Starbucks and Walmart.
Haha. Yep! It’s those little things that can make a new place feel like home. Where do you live now, and how far is it from Starbucks? 😄

t is! Was this a one-time thing, or does your job regularly give you the luxury of traveling to other towns?

Bummer to over build that beautiful country. Not a fan.
The USA is over built?
May God always bless the paradise that is Texas, and all of its great and successful and wonderful people 🙏 💕💯💪😇‼️

I wish it was in Dallas! I spent most of my life driving 1.5 to 2 hours one way to get to work in Dallas from Cedar Creek Lake!
Thanks for sharing! Wow, that's a lot of time spent driving for work! Although it seems you enjoy this routine, you would have moved or found another job long ago if you hated it! 😄
@@LIVINGINDALLAS Not really. I grew up on this lake and my family was here. I've lived in Dallas and the surrounding areas and didn't like it, because I'm a country guy at heart. I'm retired now and live in a rural area. I worked construction and the only construction around the lake doesn't pay very well. So, if you wanted a job that payed well you had to drive to Dallas. Driving there every morning wasn't something I enjoyed, it was just something I had to do every day, so I didn't think about. Sort of like getting dressed every morning, you don't think about it. It's just a sacrifice I was willing to take to enjoy the more peaceful life in the country!
You couldn't pay me to live in a plastic ghetto like this. You make me so thankful I'm homeless.
Hi there! Thanks for sharing your perspective. On that note, yes, everyone has their own preferences and needs when it comes to where they feel comfortable and happy. I hope you find a living situation that suits you. Cheers!
What about universal kids theme park
Check out our updated video on Fields! We go over that there
Hi Levi, I watched most of your KZread videos about north Dallas and other videos in DFW that would be great to invest in. I really liked your videos and really wanted to connect with you to discuss my move to Dallas from Canada. Unfortunately, I was scheduled 2 zoom calls but never spoke to anyone. The first one I was told it was a scheduling error and the second one I was told from Travis that he would do everything to make it right because of the first cancellation only not to show up again and after waiting his assistant messages me to reschedule. I have 2 young kids and work full time and I am taking this move and these meetings very seriously both times I arranged for child care so that I would not be distracted and could give you all my full attention. I was so disappointed that I didn’t see a reason to even reply anymore to Travis call or text. To be honest I think about how disappointed I am everyday because I really liked your knowledge and content and really wanted to have your insight and assistance. I just wish you guys would have dealt with this situation of mine better. I hope others have a better experience.
Hello. I’m sorry to hear you feel that way. I checked the notes in our system and our assistant reached out to let you know Travis was still out showing homes with a client. Our assistant asked if we could just meet an hour later and gave you a couple of options. Your reply was just, “no, cancel the appointment.” I’m sure if you were here looking at homes with us, and there was a delay, maybe traffic or accessing a home, and it took longer than we expected, you’d want us to keep our attention on you. It wouldn’t be respectful to leave you in a house so we can take another call for 30 minutes. We’d be very honored to help you in your move, but understand if you made other arrangements. Let me know if I can help you in any way. - Levi
I love the house. never moving back to Texas! way too hot!
Hi there! thanks again for tuning in.
Great video. fast pace which is a plus! My family moved out of Irving Texas right before Christmas to the Midwest. Texas is way too hot and has electric or power issues. Texas needs to fix their problems with the electric grid and lack of power before they keep building new businesses and residential places to live. Good luck on not losing power. I prefer my days in summer under 102 and to be able to take walks in the summer months.
Thanks for tuning in! Where are you from originally? Were you born here?
I think the same thing is happening to Austin. The last year or two, Austin has been growing at a slower rate than the national average. It was announced in May that both Jacksonville, Florida and Ft. Worth passed Austin in population, knocking Austin from the 10 largest cities in the United States by population to #12. But, the Austin region is still amongst the fastest growing regions in the nation. I think there's a lot of people leaving Austin for the suburbs, mainly for the cheaper housing, attributing the slower growth within the Austin City limits. Speaking of Ft. Worth, Ft. Worth is projected to overtake Dallas in population to become the largest city in the DFW Metroplex by 2045, and the name officially evolves into the FWD Metroplex.
Thanks for sharing your insights!

Yeah that's so awesome to be able to pay that amount and look out your backdoor at your neighbor's house, smh, move to Mansfield and have twice that for the price AND Land
We did a feature on Mansfield 3 years ago from out partner channel! Here's the link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e6Kus6eNn5C6aZM.htmlsi=Mhy1RAyiRVx3L5OU. Yes, it's a beautiful community. I settled here for convenience, considering its proximity to what's most relevant for me now at my current location.
Sounds like a commercial retail city! Looks like a boring place to live!!!
There are reasons why young single people despise "boring" master-planned communities while older family people chase them. Great schools, family-oriented environment, clean, safe, and well-operated (a.k.a., boring to young people) planned communities are all important to families but clearly not to young people wanting to have fun in night clubs. Not saying one is better than the other, just saying different people chase different things - this is not a city for young people who want to enjoy lavish night lives.
Couldn’t have said it better. Different strokes for different folks.
this video is really informative.. keep continuing your awesome work. More what's happening videos please for the Dallas suburbs
Appreciate the feedback! We have more on the way! Do you live in Dallas?
Wait until those tax assessors property tax values come in the mail, fools.😂
Where do you live that you don’t have property tax assessments?
Cities and school districts would generally lower tax rates as they develop. That said, your point is legit and valid. Paying 2% for a 500k home is still much cheaper than paying 1.8% for an 800k home. This is very likely going to be the case for Celina, in a very good way actually.
I was stationed in Texas for a while when I was in the Army and I absolutely loved it and I have only met one person from Texas who I did not like everyone else I have met from there I have absolutely adored
Thank you for your service! Thanks for sharing. Which part of the local culture do you like most?
The sewer rats came to Texas and will destroy it, what a shame.
It used to be the best place to live, but people from blue states come here and vote blue to make it like the state they left.
It is still the best place! I wouldn't worry much about it; it's usually the other way around! People with different leanings usually blend in after a while. I've known people who become more fervent about Texas ways than someone born and bred here! Just give them time to acclimate to their new home. 😊
Looks strange from the outside, but nice on the inside
Which part do you like most about it?
Can’t wait for this Costco
It’s been a long time coming!
