Like others already said, quoted from RJN, "Shape is king" and I would probably add "Weight is queen". Other than that is just preferences. Just picked up a VXE R1 SE+ as recommended from the community and pretty much love it. I don't care if the texture is kinda cheap (I mean it's not that worse compared to other $20 mices) or it's a chinese one. If it works then it works. Don't fell to the marketing trap is the best to summarize about the whole "gaming" scene.

i went from the Razer Viper to the DAV2 back to the Viper for the weight and clickier main buttons. i only wish the side buttons were bigger and clicky like the DAV2. I thought the 3399 felt and performed better, but overall movement and control is better with the Viper (58g vs 80g).

I unsubbed from Fresh Reviews after he criticised some budget "Chinese mice", then stated in complete seriousness that "they don't feel as premium as something like Pulsar". The VXE R1 Pro dumps all over most "premium" mice. I know because I own, or have owned most of them. I have a mouse problem lol. FR comes across as a bit of a shill to me. That said, I agree with what you're saying in the video.

I think Chinese mice you take on a case by case, not all Chinese mice are equal, from everything I’ve heard the OGM stuff is also amazing! We’ve had some proper disappointments in build quality from western companies and non Chinese companies as well! I go based off reputation and pulsar doesn’t have the best, from personal experience and reading those of others.

@@chrisb8479 I see no reason to support any company who is gouging the shit out of their customers. Razer, Logitech, etc. Both companies I have had bad experiences with, QC wise. And don't get me started on Logitech's "customer support". Absolutely the worst RMA experience I've ever, well, experienced. A month of waiting at least 24 hours for a response to every email, only to be told every single time that "Hi, I'm your new support person, what's the issue?" Believe me, after explaining yourself 14 times it's begins to grate. I had to threaten them with the sale of goods act, amongst other things, to finally have my issue dealt with. A horrific experience. Check out Trust Pilot reviews if you think I'm a one off.

I really think RJN had the best thing to say when it came to mice in general with "Shape is king". Polling rates and all that won't help you if you can't aim properly. Shape>Weight>Latency>Everything Else.

Everything is so perfect in terms of performance even at 1K that it’s almost snake oil at this point. RJN has the right equation! Weight I would say is subjective but it is easier to aim with a lighter mouse.

i'd say something like click feeling is more important than latency. it's really a deal breaker for me if i have mouse with shitty clicks. for example the first batch of pulsar x2v2 had sticky and stiff clicks. made me really hate the mouse.

I love the sora v2, but for some reason my performance with it is shit. Simply as that. Terrible kovaaks scores, and I just feel off when aiming, specifically tracking. Sad because I love the weight and the clicks implementations, but oh well.

Having the same issue here, the shape and the coating feels good in hand but the aggressive hump and slant of the shape make it worse for consistent performance, guess i’ll tryna replace the stock skates to see if anything changes, if not i might have to sell it.

It depends on whether you like to have space between your palm and the mouse when you relax claw. The OP1 and Atlantis mini give you that but you’ll find yourself in a locked in claw with the maya and Sora. It’s very much dependent on what you prefer. I loved the Atlantis mini and OP1 shape because of that space. The Maya was very nondescript and didn’t thrill me, and the sora is great for that locked in claw.

😂 I wish. If I was in Logitech there would be the craziest colors of GPXs. I wish they made a yellow one like the original G Pro Wireless Limited Edition. I just love the mouse so much. Like you said it before. It's like coming home. There is ONE other mouse I feel so comfortable with and that's the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2. But the GPX is my Endgame. They shall never tinker with the shape of it, it's perfect. Just the internals if needed. That's just my take on it.

Acabo de adquirir el Sora V2, el Maya era aburrido y demasiado genérico. El U2 es demasiado restrictivo para mí. El Atlantis tiene una forma mejor para mí. El Beast X es más para la punta de los dedos a menos que tengas manos pequeñas y el Max no lo usaría para ese agarre.

I too, mained the hts plus for fps games and used Hati M wired for rts games. But recently, I brought the hyperx pulsefire haste 2 mini and the shape is even more amazing. You should give it a try. It fits so nice and is the most comfortable mouse I ever used. Only con was the cheap grip tape it came with. Everything else is quite decent.

haa lucky you with G Wolves. I have to agree, the HTS+ 4k shape is absolutely goated for aggresive claw grip. My copy unfortunately have sensor issues, so had to stop using it. Sad, but still wasn't the best for my 17x10 hands. Right now I'm locked in with my Lamzu Maya, but looking forward to the OP1 4k. Interested as well in the Vaxee XE-S, but I have a feeling that the OP1 is going to be best for my hand size, and I do not want to spend more money on mice anymore hahaha (might get both in the end fk it). I have op18k and XE-S, I think op1 shape is better but clicks and scroll wheel feels are kinda meh for me. XE-S I’m having a hard time to grip it and everything else is great! I stopped using op18k because the mouse didn’t really make me perform “better” but once I hopped back to XE-S and Outset AX I found significant improvement to my cs2 gameplay. My hand size is 16.5x10 & aggressive claw grip style

Same size but the hump placement on the Zowie is further forwards and its more ergonomic rather than generic.

I love the sora v2, but for some reason my performance with it is shit. Simply as that. Terrible kovaaks scores, and I just feel off when aiming, specifically tracking. Sad because I love the weight and the clicks implementations, but oh well.
I’m in the same boat, great mouse but I’m not finding the consistency for whatever reason. It is a great mouse all in all.
Having the same issue here, the shape and the coating feels good in hand but the aggressive hump and slant of the shape make it worse for consistent performance, guess i’ll tryna replace the stock skates to see if anything changes, if not i might have to sell it.

It depends on whether you like to have space between your palm and the mouse when you relax claw. The OP1 and Atlantis mini give you that but you’ll find yourself in a locked in claw with the maya and Sora. It’s very much dependent on what you prefer. I loved the Atlantis mini and OP1 shape because of that space. The Maya was very nondescript and didn’t thrill me, and the sora is great for that locked in claw.

I described it as feeling more locked in and analogue, not so much nostalgic. I think the sensor implementation, at least to me just feels better, particularly at 1K hz on the original Superlight.
It is weird that the dynamic sensitivity first featured in this mouse has now landed in the Viper V3 Pro but it is not planned for the DeathAdder V3 Pro.
I imagine it’s an attempt to tempt people people onto the new mice. More a marketing ploy than anything else.
The skates implementation is much better, hope they stick with it

😂 I wish. If I was in Logitech there would be the craziest colors of GPXs. I wish they made a yellow one like the original G Pro Wireless Limited Edition. I just love the mouse so much. Like you said it before. It's like coming home. There is ONE other mouse I feel so comfortable with and that's the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2. But the GPX is my Endgame. They shall never tinker with the shape of it, it's perfect. Just the internals if needed. That's just my take on it.
They did make a yellow variation but it was only for the Asian market, so you might be able to track one down. It’s like Navi yellow, looks awesome! It is just the only mouse a lot of people ever need!

Acabo de adquirir el Sora V2, el Maya era aburrido y demasiado genérico. El U2 es demasiado restrictivo para mí. El Atlantis tiene una forma mejor para mí. El Beast X es más para la punta de los dedos a menos que tengas manos pequeñas y el Max no lo usaría para ese agarre.

Depends what you’re looking for as they’re wildly different mice. A good mid point between the two looks to be the Lamzu Maya X 8K, should be out sometime next month. 1000% worth a look!
I too, mained the hts plus for fps games and used Hati M wired for rts games. But recently, I brought the hyperx pulsefire haste 2 mini and the shape is even more amazing. You should give it a try. It fits so nice and is the most comfortable mouse I ever used. Only con was the cheap grip tape it came with. Everything else is quite decent.
I’ve been having a look for the haste 2 mini but it’s never on the UK Amazon. As soon as it shows up I’ll get it and give it a whirl. Thanks for the suggestion 😁

Some people have an addiction to cutting and biting -or even eating- their nails untill it's very short. I personally really dislike it because when I see the nails like that, I get extremely uncomfortable.

haa lucky you with G Wolves. I have to agree, the HTS+ 4k shape is absolutely goated for aggresive claw grip. My copy unfortunately have sensor issues, so had to stop using it. Sad, but still wasn't the best for my 17x10 hands. Right now I'm locked in with my Lamzu Maya, but looking forward to the OP1 4k. Interested as well in the Vaxee XE-S, but I have a feeling that the OP1 is going to be best for my hand size, and I do not want to spend more money on mice anymore hahaha (might get both in the end fk it). I have op18k and XE-S, I think op1 shape is better but clicks and scroll wheel feels are kinda meh for me. XE-S I’m having a hard time to grip it and everything else is great! I stopped using op18k because the mouse didn’t really make me perform “better” but once I hopped back to XE-S and Outset AX I found significant improvement to my cs2 gameplay. My hand size is 16.5x10 & aggressive claw grip style
If you want to go for “safer” shape I highly recommend Vancer’s thrash
