    In sport jiujitsu? The triangle is one of the most powerful positions.

  • @q6906
    @q69062 ай бұрын

    @@EpLegendsNetwork I see,is it most affective in that sport? You don’t see it much in the ufc. And when I was trained (slightly) was the triangle can only be locked in when your opponent is over extended/reaching or out of position. It seems so easy to counter and not find yourself there in that position…… Or is that why the first thing most people do in that sport is immediately sit on their but/back and scoot along the floor?

  • @q6906
    @q69062 ай бұрын

    In a purely grappling sport it doesn’t really pay to be in half guard or whatever position the white robe was in. Just being in that position is a disadvantage if you cant punch him in the face😅 so why be there?

  • @EpLegendsNetwork
    @EpLegendsNetwork2 ай бұрын

    @@q6906 well, it’s a sport… Brazilian jiujitsu isn’t mma, it’s a sport and with the sport it has rules.. so you can’t punch but still the triangle in mma is powerful.. secondly, I don’t think people want to go or land on the triangle but they do and the position is incredible for the person doing the submission .

    You’re 100 percent correct, sadly you can’t see in the short video but in the full video you can see a better view. The sweep comes from the pressure of my hips into there knee. That way I can come up and put them down on there but even if they post.

    If it’s a street fight: yes. But there are no rules in a street fight, including having a weapon. So, what’s the point on even commenting that on a technical move for pure jiu jitsu competition?
