    I think what Curt said about authenticity is exactly the reason why KZread is so popular, and the audience is driving the regulation of that. At the first sign of AI, they will blow up a KZread channel with negativity because they are watching that platform to get away from canned and emotionless content.

  • @RichTriggerBontrager
    @RichTriggerBontrager16 күн бұрын

    Well said, and I agree. The more IA invades, the more that we are going beg for and scream authentic video and media content. Learning to properly use video as a way to make a human connection is powerful. That's why filmmakers are mostly storytellers; I remember when Star Trek: The Motion Picture came out in 1979. The reaction was not good because the special effects overshadowed the story of the need for human connection. No matter the tools, the story and humanity must be front and center. Have fun and be creative, but keep it real.

    For the vast majority of people, AI isn’t replacing their job but transforming it, and their next job might be a role that doesn’t exist yet: • Globally, skills are projected to change by 50% by 2030 (from 2016)-and generative AI is expected to accelerate this change to 68%. • More than two-thirds (68%) of this year’s LinkedIn’s Jobs on the Rise (fastest-growing roles in the US) didn’t exist 20 years ago. • 12% of recruiters say they are already creating new roles tied specifically to the use of generative AI. • Head of AI is emerging as a new must-have leadership role-a job that tripled over the past five years and grew by more than 28% in 2023.

    As AI use surges ahead, leaders who are “extremely familiar” with AI see its potential to be as transformational as the shift from a typewriter to a computer. Within the next five years, 41% of these leaders expect to redesign business processes from the ground up with AI. In the same time frame, they anticipate orchestrating (38%) and training a team of AI bots (42%), and ensuring the ethical use of AI (47%) will be a core part of their job.

    • Users say AI helps them save time (90%), focus on their most important work (85%), be more creative (84%), and enjoy their work more (83%). • 79% of leaders agree their company needs to adopt AI to stay competitive, but 59% worry about quantifying the productivity gains of AI. • This uncertainty is stalling vision: 60% of leaders worry their organization’s leadership lacks a plan and vision to implement AI. • 78% of AI users are bringing their own AI tools to work (BYOAI)-it’s even more common at small and medium-sized companies (80%). • And it’s not just Gen Z-BYOAI cuts across all generations. • 52% of people who use AI at work are reluctant to admit to using it for their most important tasks.

    I loved Keegan’s answer about the best thing he learned from Joe. You hear that often from the most respected head coaches in sports. “Your current job is being an athlete, but that is not who you are. You are a father, mother, sister, brother first.” The best mentors in life teach us that. Way to go Joe!

    Yes, Keegan seems too well-ground, very wise, and mature for his age. His parents and church taught him well.

    My younger sister had a slight stutter which she either grew out of or got under control. It used to bone out when she was nervous, particularly on the word ‘but’. Our late Dad would gently tease her about it. I haven’t heard her stutter in years, but I don’t think I’ve heard her say ‘but’ either.

    Deal with the cause of stuttering then you will know how to handle it. Kids stutter when they grow up in a home where they are afraid of one or more of their parents. They are fearful of their parents.

    That is one possible cause of stuttering. There are four leading causes of stuttering to develop. Home life and family dynamics are among them.
