I sell these mainly as a cam rake, and also for spreading some straw. You really need a 4 or 6 rotor tedder to spread grass properly.

Hi bud, I just bought a Ti6000 and I dont seem to get that spread in a hay crop. What speed are you running the rotors at? I took the arms out of the cam locations and put them in the fixed

Hi Philip, looking at the stiching videos, not spraying off old grass, do you grase down tight after seed sowing or what is the thing to do to give new seed chance to overcome old grass thanks Brian kiely kildare.

These rear scraper tines are an optional extra from Guettler. I have ordered each front press with them fitted, paid the extra money and then charged my customers accordingly. I have offered to remove the scrapers on very tight deals, but each time my customers took my advise and paid for the extra kit. Dip into your wallet, you wont be sorry.

I have always supplied every front press with the Guttler rear scraper kit, I couldn't imagine that it would work as well without it. The tines are not in contact with anything, they simply push down any clods that come up between two rings, Ask your dealer to order one for you. Stop the video around 1.40 and you will get a better view of it.

Most Guttler customers are burning off and doing a full re-seed. The field should be cut very clean to give the seed a chance, we suggest that you spread some lime also.

for complete reseed would you want to burn off first or is it suitable for that kinda work?

@sduffy8050 It is normally used for grassland rejuvenating and for repairing gallops. It can also be used for stitching in grass seed, clover, etc. It is very efficient for full sowing jobs, such as oil seed rape, kale, grass, lucerne, phacelia, mustard, etc. etc. Have a look in the Guttler section on my website.
