The first combo was misdone. You need to Link into Requiem before using SED. The way you did the combo, your opponent can Nib on Summon of SED, and you will end up with Nibiru Token and Poplar with no followup. If you had Linked into Requiem first, you would be able to Chain Requiem to Nibiru and get access to your Fiendsmith engine, allowing you to Summon back Fiendsmith Engraver, send away Nibiru, and end on Flamberge with I:P in backrow and Princess in GY.

the problem is in every 1 card combo, you cannot play around Nib, if your opponent waits with it and uses it correctly. with the 1 card combo, before princess is summoned you can always nib for maximum dmg

For the necroquip you need atleast 2 more extradeck spots, which I currently don't have, as I still want to play the zealatnis OTK line. Additionally, if you just draw fiendsmith engraver you have full combo without necroquip. Necroquip is good if you start with a normal summon + witch, get both of them handtrapped.

like ggGio said, in the last combo I wanted to showcase a combo which draws a card + plays around dark ruler. If you don't want to play around a potential dark ruler, you can play ceasar / go for an other line.

In combo two, you can cut anima and just use spoils on poplar as a monster. Once he goes to grave, activate effect and then you have a way to get oak or flamberge instead of having to use the link 1 equip! Nice video!!

awesome video! A question: the 1st line you showed with Just a single Ash into Moon - I see that line is vulnerable to Nibiru cause you summon Moon at summon 5? Are there any other ways to Pivot? I understand you get Divine Temple to give you Snake-Eyes Diabellstar but you also have a Nib Token.

If you want to create the same strong endboard there is no way to play around Nib with just SE Ash. If you know they have nib, you can change the combo, but you won't end up with an I:P in your S/T zones

You don’t use Divine Temple to Summon SED if you get Nibbed in that line. You use SED and place Oak. Then you make I:P. The endboard through Nib is the same as before Fiendsmith. The other thing you should do to play through Nib is Link Closed Heaven into Requiem before using SED. If you use SED before Linking into Requiem, they get to Nib you there, and you end on no followup.

Depends against what you play. Vs pure snake eye it is no special summoning from gy Against rogue decks no gy effects Against fire king variants no gy effects cause kirin can special from hand and pop non target

It's hard to say. The Snakeeyes variant looks strong, especially after the new banned list. The runic variant is a lot of fun to play, and if the bystials have a good matchup, this version may take the top spot. Nevertheless, we've only seen the tip of the iceberg with these combos.

After the recent ban list i dare to say that lvl 12 synchros are currently the best.White woods can easily spam its 2 lvl 4 tuners while centurion can easily spam lvl 8 monsters. Bottom line is that with White Woods centurion can make 1-2 omni negates to protect crimson dragon + calamity which means that avoiding the calamity lock with none or only one hand trap is impossible..

What’s the thought process behind going nimble over the twins? Wouldn’t this deck lose a lot of followup/recovery? I’ve seen 2 tops with a similar list.

Yea probably needed since you have to play the extended snake eye package but you could also cut horus engine to keep the deck around 40-50 but still needs testing with the new cards

Mutamorphosis is a consisntency card and i feel that the deck is already really consistent probably i will almost always prefer jet in my hand instead of metamorphosis so probably at that point 3* jet will be better than add metamorphosis. Metamorphosis can be good if you play other lv 2 like ible but i don’t think is necessary. The other lv 2 is an extender and gives you another interruption! I love it i will for sure find some space for it…

I won't lie, the deck is not as strong as fireking or snake-eye. But it has as a strength that it can play easily even after 1-2ht! Especially ash/droll/ nibiru/ impermanence. Runick is a solid engine that can quite easily do 1 for 1 trades and go positive with field draws. That is always good. Against fireking you really need some sort of hight impact remouval, and the biggest problem in the machup is the ammout of followup that the snake-eye generate. I will not be surprised to see some runick spright in future’s top :)
