  I forgot Raphael had that sword, so it was a surprise to see him with it in their cutscene. And how perfect was it that Nightmare/Siegfried, wielding Soul Calibur, stood opposite Inferno with the complete Soul Edge. PS: that thing is pure nightmare fuel. Even Umbrella couldn't make a bio-weapon like that.

  Knowing Hraesvelgr moreso from 3 and associating it as a healing weapon, I completely forgot that it was a health-drainer in the game prior. Even with the health gained for any attack performed, what a pain against an aggressive or grapple-happy opponent. Seong's third costume in 2 really sticks out from the rest and is my second favorite of hers, only behind her P2 costume from 3.

  Looks like the rest of the cast made the mistake of thinking Voldo a minor obstacle. Playing as and against him shows just how much of a beast Voldo can be. That last battle was such a nail biter towards the end. Props for taking it on with a life-stealing weapon. 3rd costume Seong Mina next?

  Taki really gave you a hard time in that run! At least we got to enjoy the music for a good while, it's something. And Mitsurugi saying that Soul Edge is his was amusingly fitting considering both you and her did use Soul Edge in the fight, haha!

  Ah, I had forgotten the joy of ringing out one opponent, then immediately doing the same to the next in one move. Kamikirimusi might be my favorite of the five bonus characters with Ashlotte in close second. Luckily, Kami is also the easiest to recreate in later entries as well.

  To this day, I legitimately consider that to be my absolute favorite Ivy costume. Used to nickname it "Commodore Ivy" when I was younger. It fits her formal roots, like she was doing her alchemy and the like under the guise of a noble. In all subsequent games with customization, I've tried recreating this look for Ivy, but never quite got it right like it is here in 2.
