I use hand creams for foot creams if I want to use them up and I also add a little oil to my shower gel for a more moisturising wash 😊
You're inspiring me to use up a bunch of stuff I have! Due to my lovely family, I'm still working on stuff from Christmas in a lot of categories lol.

I read a Little Life and found it hard to enjoy because was such a difficult character but your description is spot on and makes me want to read it again with your points in mind. Thanks so much!
What I love about this project (in general) is seeing progress. I find it so fun to watch other people pan a palette as I do offline and get this camaraderie as we all work our way through palettes. Subsequently, I love learning about my palettes. Not just about the colour story, but a more in depth understanding of the palette along with my taste, as you did. I always allow myself to declutter 20% of a palette if I find colours I'll just never wear. As I start working on that palette, if I find I really dislike it, more colours will go and if I end up decluttering half the palette, so be it. I have way too much eyeshadow and enjoy doing my makeup way too much to be unhappy with the outcome. Ever. So declutter if that's where you're at. If you had fun and learned that this palette served its purpose for you faster than you anticipated, then it was a success. Now you know what you like in colours and formula, and you know never to waste your expensive face powder trying to salvage eyeshadow again. I get one less video a month, so sad face there for me, but thank you for the finale at least! I appreciate the closure. 😅
I enjoyed watching you talk about your journey to finding your kibbe body type. You made a strong case for being a soft dramatic which shows you've researched a lot. I am a soft natural myself who does have to accommodate shoulders and I stand a bit shorter so this helped me with understanding via contrast. I watched your color analysis for autumns and the earth tones look great. The long dress was stunning with the long knit cardigan. Thanks for sharing!
how on earth you can finish hourglass highlighter? i just hit pan with the bronzer 😅
@@frhhrsl_9744 lol I don’t know! I used it every time I wore makeup (which was most days) but was really surprised how quickly I got through it! How long did it take to hit pan on the bronzer?
Morgan Turner on YT also said similar things about the merit shadow.

Loved your video. I have Je Ne Sais Quoi and I like it, I wish it would last longer on my lips, I use it a lot as a blusher and its perfect. Kitten Mischieve is on my wish list, then I have Velvet Cinnabar also By Lisa Eldridge and its my perfect Red❤
Yes it's lovely as a blusher too! Great for the summer months :) Kitten Mischief is a great everyday shade. I'm tempted by Velvet Cinnabar but wondered if it's too dark?
Congrats on the declutter, you’re going to enjoy your collection much more now! Regarding the sponges, no need to toss them when they have a tear (and sadly the RT ones tear quickly in my experience), I don’t want to give you the ick but bacteria goes inside the sponge no matter what by the virtue of the fact that you wet it and put makeup on the surface. So having a tear in it makes absolutely no difference, what is important is to clean them regularly, and to always let them airdry (never put them in a box or bag when they are wet).
Strangely, I'm having feels over the eyeshadow palettes going. 😂 They have been round a long time and I'm irrationally attached to seeing you work through them. Good bye hard working palettes. 😢

I'm so proud of you letting go of those palettes. Not loving eyeshadow palettes feels like an unpopular opinion here in the KZread beauty space, but I feel the same way. I don't really love eyeshadow and while I wear it I like to keep my looks neutral, simple and light. I need to do a declutter too. I have way too many products in my collection that I force myself to wear just because I have it and I end up with a look I don't enjoy.
For 7 1/2 months you have doggedly tried to pan those eyeshadows. I can't blame you for deciding that you've done enough. I am not at all disappointed. I love your current makeup look and am glad you are enjoying how your makeup looks again.

I'm impressed by how much progress you've made on the Hourglass Leopard palette. I bought the Jellyfish palette last year, had used it loads, and feel like I've barely made a dent in any of the pans.
Also, Kitten Mischief is one of my absolute favorite lipsticks!

Just a quick single eyeshadow suggestion - try Slow Fast Slow by MAC, it's a gorgeous muted rose gold shade, perfect for Autumns😊

I have a couple of the Victoria Beckham eyeliners and they are very difficult to sharpen unless you use a Victoria Beckham sharpener. Neither my Nars or Chanel sharpener do a good job.
@@helenskibinski9742 that’s a bit cheeky that they only work with the VB sharpener! Guess that’s why there’s an option to include the complimentary sharpener when you order.
Ugh that's so sneaky! I hate when brands do things like that. It makes you have to spend more money and it's just another item to clutter up a collection.

I believe makeup should be fun and if you are not happy then you are doing the right thing. You did very well and have fun with makeup. I am on my 3rd Modern Rennissance palette, it is probably my all time favorite one. The first one I used to death and replaced it, the second one I used up so many shades I put other eyeshadows in it, but missed the shades I used up and now I am on my 3rd one. I have light skin, but darker features, so the darker shades I love. You just should use what you love.

I'm so glad you made this decision! I have also decided to call of my Pan Those Eyeshadows, I just don't think it's a project that works for me. I'm really picky with the color combinations I do with eyeshadows. I feel pairing random eyeshadows end up looking messy and unintenional more often than not. And I just don't want to force myself to wear makeup I don't enjoy. Can't wait to see your big declutter!

I wish I had your level of patience and dedication. I would rather go barefaced than keep or use any products that I don't absolutely love and enjoy using. That's the fun part for me what motivates me to put skincare and makeup on and keeps me steady in my routine. If I don't love it I give it away or toss it. I don't have a large collection but treasure and enjoy every item I do have. Can't wait to see the declutter - will be so satisfying.

I think you did a fantastic job at this pan-that-palette challenge. You used up so much of the product down to the last speck of those colors. The only colors left are the ones you know you don't like, and you gave them more than their fair chance--even trying to give them a second life as cheek products. I'm glad you are enjoying your makeup looks more now that you are using products you enjoy and not just ones that you are making yourself use up. I will miss seeing these updates because you are my favorite project-pan creator on YT, but it is more important for you to enjoy doing your makeup. I do look forward to watching your declutter video and anything else you make!
I’ve stopped panning eyeshadows and started decluttering instead for that same reason. Makeup shouldn’t feel like a chore and result in you not liking the final look. Besides, those ABH eyeshadows were getting rusty anyways. Probably for the best :)

You're right, make up should be fun and you definitely got good use out of both palettes. I think pan that palette only works if you want to get more use out of a palette you love and want to use all of the shades but it is getting old and you want to get more use before it goes off. Looking forward to the declutter.

Your makeup in this video looks so fresh and bright (in a good way)! BTW I had my House of Colour appointment and am a Blue Spring ( I had previously been thinking I was a soft autumn 😂) and I am a Natural Gamine. I think that answers quite a few questions because I have always been trying to make myself into a classic… Anyway I have a lot to think about and sort out!

Realy hard to using eyeshadow as blush. Its so pigmented and not blending well . Hate pan is really annoying this to do .If u dont like them just dont use them Vicki.❤❤
It really is! I won't do that again, if it doesn't work as eyeshadow then using it as blush certainly won't work lol. :)
Great decision! No point in wearing makeup that frustrates you. Makeup is supposed to be fun and make you feel good not add to lifes struggles.😀

Don’t feel bad for ending this project sooner, there is no need to force yourself to use eyeshadows you don’t enjoy. I started to declutter the dark eyeshadows from all my palettes and keep just the ones I use regularly.

haha you're right! I just felt like I should continue with it though as it's a series on my channel and people follow along and I don't want it to seem like I was giving up. If I didn't have a channel then it would have been a much easier and quicker decision lol :)

I agree!! You’ve done both these palettes justice. Using things up completely is great, but not if it takes the joy out of using it. You’re so passionate about makeup so using the items that bring you joy seems the best thing to do. The psychology of feeling good versus project pan needs to be a healthy balance 😊 x
Your make up is looking so good in this video. Life is too short to hate pan! Yay 🎉! I have focused certain palettes this year but once I have meet goals on it I am decluttering them - 3 done so far this year moving forward only several one and done singles or a well curated quod. Great decision well done!

I only just discovered you Vicki, you have a Rosie HW look about you and very much a diva essence to you. I think I’m also a soft dramatic like yourself and I’ve only just fathomed that out too. Your video helped me a lot as we share a similar figure but my face throws me off. You’d look lovely with knee high boots with the dress and cardigan outfit and a big fur shawl scarf style. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! X

I find a lot of use from my linen shirts in the summer. If you had, for example, a cream/flax/beige one you could wear it will any of those shorts tucked in and roll up the sleeves. If you have a short sleeve button down you can pop it over your tank top as a sort of jacket so you don’t feel like you’re showing too much skin. Regarding your other video with the fitted shirt and TS tshirt, I think it needs a 3rd piece like a denim jacket or I think I’m seeing an army type jacket hanging up. Try it with that! Try a couple of the camisoles under your blazer with a pair of jeans. I also have a bandeau that I wear under anything with skinny straps as I feel better when my bra straps don’t show. And I find traditional strapless bras uncomfortable.
I agree with your decision to remove the Armani foundation from the project pan. You gave it a fair go.
