  A. Metal Church was nowhere near the band Ac/Dc was. But they were also a completely different genre, thrash metal. AC/DC was more of a blues-rock flavor. B. This song is about drugs obviously with all the obvious and more subtle references. Bet her favorite nag, stirred my coffee with the same spoon, knew her favorite tune, like a second skin and more. If I remember correctly it was loosely based on a relationship Scott had in the past. C. Ac/Dc gets a knock sometimes for their simplistic sound but to me, playing where you can hear all the instruments is more impressive than music that the lead guitar and vocals are pasted over a wall of incomprehensible noise. This album and Highway to Hell were when they were reaching their pinnacle. Now, "Back in Black" is a great album, and I guess it's still the second best selling album of all time" behind "Thriller". And the fact they made it with a new singer, right after burying Bon Scott is very impressive. But what if Bon Scott hadn't died from alcohol poisoning. I wonder what that album and future ones would have been like. D. Angus Young , Bon Scott, Cliff Williams, Phil Rudd and later Brian Johnson are all essential members and influenced the bands sound and success. But ask any of them and most knowledgeable fans who was the heart and soul of the band and you will receive one answer. Malcolm Young. Many people assume he played rhythm because Angus was a better lead guitarist and eventually maybe he was, but when they began Malcolm began playing rhythm exclusively because he was better at it than Angus. He was the driving force behind their sound and style. Anyways, this song is my favorite track from one of my top 3 favorite albums from one of my top 5 favorite bands. And it's been over 40 years since I first heard it.
