Listening to this with my tea and custard cream.
What is the instrumentation of this work?
You can check my fixed comment. It has a link to the complete score.
@@alejov923 I did that and it says "Oops... The sound of silence. No music here! Take me back home" I'm still interested in knowing what the instrumentation of this work is.
@@dbadagna Hmm, they changed the link. In any case, here it is, taken from the publisher. You can still find the online score there: www.schott-music.com/en/preview/viewer/index/?idx=MTk5MDcw&idy=199070&dl=0
Que belleza ❤
Is it cosmic odisey 2001 music?)))
Impressive how it goes from light and cheerful to incredibly dissonant and dense, nearly apocalyptic.
Just played this for my five year old. She hated it, I asked why “because it wasn’t very pedetting.” Pedetting, what’s that? “It’s a word that queens use, it’s not very nice or charming.” Well she’s not wrong- but I happen to quite like it despite it being not very pedetting. In fact because of it.
Greetings from the Persians to Armenian people 🔥

"As the Russian, French and American submersibles shined their bright klieg lights at the ruins 3 miles down in the abyssopelagic, they backlit the megalithic structures like the giant pillars and arches and elevated platforms, and it was like these ancient ruins wanted nothing so much as to be left alone in thier silent repose, long ago put away from the eyes of men from the world above. All these staggering structures that were the ramparts of the former world that lay down here under the deep dark waters of ancient judgement! That world of ancient violence and giant men of renown and preflood fighting arenas of combat sport and blodshed, and evil that consumed their world, bringing down the judgement of the almighty Who sent down the worldwide floodwaters to drown those ancient people and all their violence and perversion, to the saving of only 8 souls

Tengo años buscando este recuerdo! Gracias por compartir!
Honestly I don’t know how or why people are praising this, something is wrong with you or your ears. It genuinely makes me question if this composer had ever been formally taught music or composition. This is without a doubt the worst classical music I’ve ever heard. Frankly, nothing about this is beautiful, moving, touching or creates imagery. It’s literally nothing. There’s literally no melody or harmony, it’s just random sounds. It sounds like something a toddler would’ve scribbled onto a score, only difference is that a toddler would have more harmony. It sounds like me playing my cello when I first got it at age 3. I also can’t believe some people are daring comparing this junk to masterworks of the highest order, like Elgar’s or Dvorak’s Cello Concerto or just other great composers in general like Atterberg, Beethoven, Stravinsky or Shostakovich etc. If it was comparable it wouldn’t be unheard of and hidden in a damp corner of the internet. Pull your head out of your ass, this sound embodies how the smell of diarrhoea that has been stuck on the bottom of a sandal since 300 BC would smell. If I ever presented this as my final score to my music professors for a composition exam I would be kicked out of University immediately. This is not in any shape or form ‘art’ or ‘music’. I truly wish I was deaf.
I'm alive, BTW...

are you saying that Tchaikovsky is also a plagiarist
@@bonelessvegetal818 What does Tchaikovsky have to do with it? I'm talking about the Khachaturian, you can't use the material used, this is the music of someone else's people.
@@Artworld347-yg9ux 1812 overture, he used the French anthem, khachaturian picked his music around the Caucasus so he probably know about him, he probably put it in to pay homage to uzeyir, I listened to uzeyir and his shit is fire, composers from the Caucasus are underrated
@@bonelessvegetal818 I agree that the composers of the Caucasus are underestimated. But Khachaturian should have noted that this is the theme of U.Hajibeyov. As other composers did when they used the theme of other composers.
@@bonelessvegetal818 Unfortunately, the works of such outstanding composers as Gia Kancheli, Kara Karaev, Fikret Amirov and others are rarely performed in the world.
