SS is fun but the plastic really tightened up the budget of the dolls. Mattel is not a magic company. They still have to care about the budget. some fans are looking at the braids on Venus. I Hope they can release this line slowly to let other pure doll line to shine.

So I looked up the new Decedents movie after finding out about it randomly. Basically the plot is that Red gets invited to the big prep school (now run by Ursula’s daughter) and her mom the Queen Of Hearts uses it as a way to get even with Cinderella because she’s got a big grudge against her due to some incident in the past. This results in Red and Cinderella’s daughter Chloe (the princess girl) using some mystical device to travel back in time (tbh given this is a fantasy thing it makes sense there be something that can allow this and I’ll take that over a typical magic spell because it can be interesting especially if done right) to prevent the incident in question. Hijinks ensue obviously.
I’ve been very much debating on a lease getting a second version of G3 dolls
back to say you’re spot on with twyla being reminiscent of the g1 coffin bean doll! looking at mine and she also has predominantly purple hair with the mint green as highlights. i think she might be the only other doll with that hair coloring pattern?

I’m legit so excited for Clementine. I may be a late teenager and not susceptible to slime gimmicks but I’ve fallen hard for the glitter legs and I can’t wait to give her a cozy autumn themed makeover.
this might be my least favorite skulltimate secrets dolls because in my opinion their outfits look too bland and simple, it kinda disconnects to all of the other skulltimate iterations. they're too basic, too simple and also uninspiring. twyla is one of my favorite characters and I'm so frustrated 😢

I like them a lot but I’m a little disappointed that the lockers are the elevator style of ss4 and that they didn’t play more with the garden or tea party aspect as a playset piece.

This has been the best use of the five fabric pieces from SS. Probably my favorite SS line. Tough for me to decide between this line and Neon Frights
