Also, my father and his brothers always talked about the elk, especially at night. It’s very eerie when they call further mates but very beautiful and Weedville. I’ve been there several times. We plan on going back again, especially to Punxsutawney Pennsylvania in Jefferson county. We have lots of family out there too. It’s known for groundhog Phil and Groundhog Day February 2 every year.

My father and his three older brothers and their mother used to live in Weedville elk county Pennsylvania on your map. You’ll see the road 555 and Wiedeville is right there. They have family in Saint Mary’s also and my father and his brothers and their mother were born in Niagara Falls, New York and they also have family in Niagara Falls, Canada and Crystal Beach Canada, we live in New Jersey ❤😊👍

I have many fond memories of travelling to Letchworth from Port Colborne, at Thanksgiving. It is such a beautiful park! I don’t mean this as a criticism at all, but we don’t call it “America”. Canada and the US are both in North America. Most Canadians just call it “the States”. I have enjoyed all of your camping videos so far! 💖

How are you and your car? The one thing I kept thinking was call the police, start recording. Film the guy who hit your car, his license plates, your car to document everything before he drives away. Speaking of good cheese, if you ever go camping at Bon Echo Provincial Park and take the 401, take highway #37 at Belleville. There’s a really good cheese factory about 15 minutes north of the highway called Maple Dale Cheese and they have some of the best cheddar and curds from new cheese all the way up to ten year old.

Just don’t go to Port Dover on a Friday 13th unless you want to see thousands of motorcycles. If you ever decide to try Port Burwell there’s a retired Canadian Forces submarine in the park beside the river that you can take a tour through, it’s very interesting.

I would recommend you try Awenda Provincial Park just north of Barrie. There are glorious hiking trails and beautiful sandy beaches. I used to have a cottage in the area and really enjoyed walking the trails in Awenda.

Ah yay, I love your camping videos! They give me such good ideas of places to go when I finally get to Canada. Taking us along on the bike ride was really fun - you always look like you’re really enjoying yourselves. Haha, the story of the raccoon in the bin always cracks me up 🤣

We’ve camped at Bronte a few times and it’s a nice close park for a night or two of camping, although there isn’t water or a great deal to do there. Once you get into the campground it’s almost hard to believe that you’re in the middle of an urban area, it almost feels like a park further up north. I do the same thing with the gloves and hand sanitizer at the dump station.

If you have any interest there’s a British car show in the park, this year on Sept.15th. We went one year and there are some wonderful old cars including Jags, Morgans, Rolls, Land Rovers, Austins, etc.

@@Hannah_54 Nice, you’ll be north of Toronto so it’ll be easier and closer for you to go camping or fishing if you choose to without having to fight as much traffic. Here in Hamilton if we want to go north we pretty much have to contend with lots of traffic getting past Toronto.

We’re an older couple and like you we didn’t want a unit with bunk beds (no grandchildren). If you ever decide that the foam cushions in the dinette are too soft and thin we replaced ours with higher density foam from a foam store on Ottawa Street in Hamilton.
