  They said to check your fuse box plugs are the bottom to make sure they are push in and tight they come off randomly due to dumps

  Nope, it's just the sound of the opposed twins they all pretty much soud like that, I have three of them all on different mowers, this, a craftsman, and a yardman by mtd and they all sound like that when I idle them down low so it's normal but when I first got them I questioned if it was a rod knock but it isn't, thank you for the comment and concern, please stop by the channel again!

  Got the same saw lol probably cut a few hundred cords of firewood I used to go out with a friend who cut an sold firewood for a living we used to leave at 430 in morning and back home by ten or eleven depending how far we had to go to cut wood an how easy the chikos were to get but and I used it lots out where I hunt fucking thing still running until now I put gas in it went to start er up cause it's been sitting in basement for a few years since I last used it and started pissing gas out from underneath the carb an sides fuk cheap ass Chinese fuel lines and have to strip the saw down just for a deteriorated fuel line was busted right on the edge of where it goes inside the fuel tank other than that only thing I've replaced was something in the clutch can't remember what oh primer bubble rotten also an cracked was a good bang for the buck anyways I paid 160$ brand new at Crappy Tire about 20 yrs ago lol hopefully I can remember how she goes back together by the time I get the fuel line in might get a new piston ring just cause it's apart and I know how much abuse I put it through cutting firewood out in the heat the pull cord pulley is plastic it's a little warped from the heat of the saw probably gonna get new one too exact same saw as yours lol for a something that usually lives up to its name ya know what they say about them poulan saws they keep ya poulan an poulan and the Dam things never wanna start lol that hasn't been the case with mine though lol

  That's an awesome story, thanks for sharing 👍 for me ive had a few poulan saws ans they have been no issue machines, if they are repaired right, they run forever, also side note, I just had to take the top cover off and the carb/airbox assembly to replace my fuel lines, best of luck with your saw reassembly

  Try changing your crankshaft & cam Sensor out

  Have changed the crank position sensor twice but have not had them to back to it and check it out further

  Would this cause it to bog down while under load? Or is this just one thing to check? I liked and subscribed I appreciate any feedback or information you can provide. I have a Poulan Pro 14" it starts but bogs down under load especially turned on it's side.

  that could be the fuel filter not setting all the way at the bottom of the tank... or maybe it needs replaced.

  It's possible but as the other guy in replies said it sounds like fuel filter not sitting in bottom of tank, thanks for the comment and subscription, really appreciate the support

  It is but only for tall brush and weeds, not at all for shrubs or any type of wood stuff

  @@jameslawnmowerrepair I've got an Earthquake. String works on everything no matter the size except for the woody stuff. That requires a different attachment.

  Thanks for the feedback and I already forwarded that information to the product team a few weeks ago. The correct carburetor for poulan 2550 is WT-625 and this one you get is for 2550LE type 2 gas chainsaw.

  It is connected to the coil kill wire which is the tab on the ignition coil

  Pulse fuel pump or need to clean or adjust carb or the govenor is going out on it but most likley intake manifold gaskets are bad

  I have one looks to be identical to this. I need a carburetor for since someone stole it off of it. Not having much luck. You wouldn't have a picture or part number for the carb by chance?

  No I don't but I will do some research and get you a number for the carb. I know these came with a briggs and stratton engine this one came with a tecumseh

  @@jameslawnmowerrepair well ffw to now,I have an 04 didge hemi and all signs pointed to bad pcm ,but what I found out it was bad intake gaskets,no more stalling and got throttle response back

  @@jameslawnmowerrepair spray carn cleaner around injectors ,if rpms change u have a bad gasket, cheap fix but blut 2 hour job ,I did all that myself...

  There's probably five pins you have to pull out then you can just deal with the underside of the mower versus flipping the four wheeler as well. LOL
