Hello, fellow detectorist. I am Jeff AKA Relic Reaper who enjoys saving history throughout the Heartland. I use a Nokta Legend mainly in Omaha Nebraska dirt fishing parks, fields, and properties I am granted permissions to. Every new metal detecting outing is a treasure hunt for lost coins and relics that have been “Dropped and Forgotten”. So, join me in the excitement as I uncover each find in weekly episodes.

These types of vids are always underappreciated. One find, just one can make anybody a millionaire overnight! You just have to know where to look. And make sure it's public property. If it's private and you really want to treasure hunt on it you HAVE TO GET PERMISSION from the owner. And maybe permits. Thanx for sharing this video. I'm going to share it. I've already 'scribed. God bless and good luck 👍
We enjoy hunting the public areas. ( parks, public schools, and lots owned by the city. ) My home and land hunts , I always get the go-ahead from the owner. I definitely want to be a good ambassador for the hobby. Thank you so much for sharing the video and subscribing. Very happy you are enjoying the content, this is why I do the videos. To share my experience as a detectorest with others. 🙂
Nice video and finds. Happy Hunting and good luck 🤞👍
Thank you. Appreciate you watching and glad you enjoyed.
That ring is beautiful, huge congrats to ya. You could assemble a whole organ with all those reeds.
Hopefully I can make it back there, feel there is so much more to be uncovered. Then we might have an organ LOL Thanks for watching
Hey I know that school!
So this is why we did not find much. 🤣😂🤣😂
Love your videos! They are real and genuine!
I am glad you are enjoying the content as much as I am detecting these sights and sharing the experience with everyone. Thank you for the comment and joining me on this adventure.
Would love to meet up and hunt this summer. Keep up great content.
Thanks Jon, pretty busy at the moment but need to figure out something on a meet up spot. Are you on Facebook messenger?
Great finds!
Thank you, and glad you found the channel.
We had fun at this place.
Yes it was a good spot.
That's one cool school over there in the Omaha area, looks a lot like some of the schools in my neck of the woods. Congrats guys and any time your out diggin' in the dirt, Gotta Love It!
Agree it is great just to get out see what history can be found, meet new people and research items I did not have a clue about. Such an awesome hobby to be part of. Thanks for watching.
Very Cool!

It was a cool location glad we went.
Very nice hunt. I love parks and tot lots. ❤️
Thanks for watching, most are over hunted in the Omaha area but with good timing you can find some cool stuff.
@RelicReaper I am out in San Diego, CA, I am not a fan of the beaches. To many people go there. Out of all the time I have been to the beach ⛱️ I have found 66 cents and a Tungsten ring
Nice video! Still looking for my first IHP! I dug my first of those aluminum canning jar lids just the other day too! You're right...lots of writing to decipher is fun!
I am sure you will find an IHP just keep on swinging. The canning lid was a cool find and we lean new things as we discover lost relics. Thanks for stopping by, hope you continue to join me as I uncover what hat been dropped and dorgotten.
This one i was not invited to but that's ok as i cant make them all. Well done as usual. Nice video which is now your most popular. 👍

Sometimes they are good, others they have nothing. I hope you score a good one too. Thanks for watching
@@RelicReaper thanks for the reply pal . There are some areas around me with some really fantastic history. I always wonder if the pathways wich used to connect one area to the next instead of roads is a good idea , only one way to find out haha
Looks like a very cool adventure, pal!
Thanks, I enjoy every new outing. You just never know what you may uncover. Hope you join me on my next adventure and thank you for watching.
@@RelicReaper you're welcome, waiting for the next adventures and treasures!
New subscriber. Great video. Look forward to seeing more videos

New sub, hello from Houston, Texas. Nice finds.
Glad you enjoyed bw8349. Thanks for subscribing and joining me on my weekly adventures.
that U.M.C. Co shotshell s 1800s
From what I was able to research, they were produced around 1910, but not 100%.
I'm only a minute into your video but are you going to drop a magnet down that well?
This is my favorite comment so far. You have a valid question. You are right it is something that needs investigated, but I don't have a magnet. I guess this is something I should have in my detecting arsenal.
@@RelicReaper 😉👍
My mama had a squeeze box she wore on her chest. My poor old daddy he never got no rest😮😮😮
Thanks for sharing. Dad got no rest LOL.
Great bunch of finds!
Thanks for watching. Hope you join me in the next adventure.
You spent a lot of time for some junk. I use to do this......I know the amount of work.
I think you're looking at it the wrong way. I spent the day with a freind who enjoys the same hobby as I do. We are outdoors, getting exercise. This hobby is mostly digging junk but if you are patient you will uncover some really cool things. I also enjoy doing the research of the area and items I find. I am also part of a local Metal Detecting Club and we meet monthly to talk about our finds...people are interested in them. This brings me to this page. I want to share the items I uncovered and hopefully encourage someone to do the same thing. So the stuff may not be worth anything but it brings me enjoyment...that should count for something. I hope you continue to join me in this adventure each week.
great stuff.
Thanks Debra, glad you stopped by to check the channel out. Hope you join me in future episodes.
Awesome Railroad button, love finding tokens too. Man you guys are just like us running a Nokta and a Minelab! Congrats on your first Indian Head Penny, now you will find em everywhere! Loved your thumbnail for the video!
Hey just wanted to say I enjoy your guy's channel. Appreciate you stopping by and watching the cool history we uncovered. I sure do hope I can uncover some more IHP, I think the design of them is so cool. You're right when I found my.first silver coin last year it seem I am always finding one here and there. Hope you stop by again and check out future adventures.
RR button = work wear (overall) button.
Thanks. I could not find much info on this so was not 100% sure how accurate I was.
The little girl was probably devastated losing her ring 💍
I am sure she was. Wish we could find more info on who the owner was. What a story that would be. "Local detectorest returns lost rig of Ms. A. B. that laid burried in the dirt at her rural schoolhouse for 125+ years."
@RelicReaper Would make some story.
Quit breathing so loud!!!!
Sorry for that. In my defense I am old, fat and out of shape. Getting out metal detecting gives me some exercise so hopefully the breathing will slow.
Good luck with your new channel and congratulations on your video going viral. Very very cool! I'm all subbed up so I look forward to seeing your videos in my feed from now on. 😃
So glad you enjoyed. Looking forward to you joining us on the adventures. Thank you for watching. Not sure what sparked all the views, Still new to this and learning in hopes each week I can improve on the quality with the videography.
cast iron scroll is part of a desk.
Look up some old desk pictures and it look to be a match. Thank you for you comment and watching.
@@RelicReaper The reason I knew what it was, is because I sat at one for my first 8 years of school. Lol
@@shooter3083 so much workmanship back then. Just an amazing piece of history.
@@RelicReaper Very true. They were a lonnng way from being Ikea.
Love it. Great work
Appreciate it Jon, thanks for watching.
FANTASTIC!! Great video! WOW!! The finds are SWEET!
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed. This is the main reason I do the videos...is to share with viewers like you what the ground has held hidden.
Nice hunt.
Thanks, and glad you enjoyed the adventure.
Love finding wheats. Found my first IHP in Omaha this year.
I just found my first IHP, it will be on my next episode. If you're in Omaha if you want to meet for a coffee and possibly hit some areas around Omaha let me know.
Sounds good to meet up for coffee and hunt a spot or two. I lucked out and found 2 wheats today in public park.
Great hunt
Thank you, Glad you enjoyed.
you know that gold doesn't "tarnish up" right?
I do, thank you.
Looked like gold to me.
Yes it cleaned up really well. No markings but if it is old then probably would not have one. Thanks for watching.
The parts that you refer to is a desk really to me seems like stove parts with a burner?
Sometimes with small pieces, I do rely on the help of others. Thank you for you input. Hopefully on a return trip we can uncover more pieces.
