That sucks! The sales have finished in the grocery stores now but the clothing stores haven't opened yet so I'm sure there will be some bargains once they reopen! They usually start stocking autumn stuff by September so they need to clear everything asap 😄

They were ok. They had that typical extreme vanilla flavour that all "birthday cake" products have so if thats your thing you'll love them. My favourite is still chocolate brownie but I'm definitely a chocoholic 😄 Thanks for watching!

We are doing another round atm, only 12 eggs this time. I've candled the eggs and think we have about 8 chicks so i'll definitely film them if they hatch. They don't stay cute for long as they grow extremely fast but they are very easy to care for. We get about 6 eggs per day from our chickens🐥 Good luck on your search!

I love the way you call some products a "rip off" of the brand named items. We call it "generic brand". I couldn't get tinned tomatoes for Sunday nights Spaghetti Bolognese, I used Passatta which l had never used before and l have to tell you it was better than a can of tomatoes!! When l saw you had it in this haul l was wondering do you also use it in place of tinned tomatoes as well? I will definitely be using this again. You got a few treats for hubbys work lunch does he have any American Snacks left?? Hope you all enjoyed a taste of some of the treats that came in that. 👍

A lot of brands here have their own specific items and we can't really get generic versions of those things. I call them a rip off as they copy the exact product, packaging design and usually have a similar name. Such as the munch bars were a copy of Cadbury brunch bars. Aldi copy a lot of things which is why i love it 😊 He doesn't have any candy left 🙈 he did give some to his brothers tho. I did try the peanut butter snickers and fudge milky way and they were amazing!

Thank you Jackie, you are very kind! Oliver has definitely tested me over the years with his food issues but the problem was really how much i was bothered by it/self conscious about others thoughts. I try to celebrate the little things, like the fact he now eats rice which was a big no no before 😊

That was fun to watch all the different items. We dont have those American stuff in Australia. My teen did a mystery box from a sweets company once here and it was full of Sour Heads candy, shes never eaten sour candy since!!! Good way to curb that craving. My favorite would be the peanut butter Snickers would love that one. You put this up a couple of days ago but it wouldn't open. Damn YT still giving you grief. Anyway Thankyou that was fun. Hubby is sorted for snacks for ages now.👍

The fudge milky way and peanut butter snickers were my favourite, i also enjoyed the calypso drinks. I'm not a big candy person but chocolate is definitely my thing! Lucky the kids have Easter eggs otherwise they'd be stealing all of it 😂

Thank you. It’s nice to see what others are managing to get. The queues to get in the supermarkets where I live in north west England are ridiculous. An hour to get in and then another queue to pay for half an hour. I’m just trying to go once a week for myself and my elderly Dad. No chance of any on line delivery slots for 4 weeks either. And when I went shopping the other day, still no rice, eggs or pasta available. Will try Aldi or Lidl next, I think. Thank you for showing us your purchases. Keep safe.🙂

I chose a Lidl in a small village near me and tried to get there for opening. The queues down in the town are insane, you have to queue for over an hour just to get in! Hope your well xx

I know 😩 the footage did have sound but it disappeared during uploading, i didn't find out until I'd already deleted the file. Big lesson learned! I'll be checking my uploads from now on. I was only yacking about the items and the total cost - grocery items was £196 and misc was £20.

The Cinammon Scrolls and 30 minute bread rolls looked divine. Who doesn't love Breakfast for dinner! Ive been known to have my fair share of Oatmeal or Eggs on toast for dinner. He does have a big appetite 😂 he does a lot of manual work and if i don't give him large portions he just eats cereal or junk 🙄 I'm sure the kids will appreciate it when they are older, I've started writing down the recipes that are awesome so hopefully they can be passed on when they are interested!

I lost volume when you went to the meat, toiletries and random stuff😭😭 Anyone else had same problem?. Thanks for the Dole Whip idea, Googled the recipe yum yum lm picking up frozen pineapple chunks to make that. Why the long line at supermarket just to get in. That was hectic, (Was it extra busy for Easter). No such situation here. Great meal plan ideas for the fortnight. Thankyou 👍

It was twice as bad when I left! I think shopping takes me an hour longer at the moment just from the extra queuing. I wish I could get an online shop but there's nothing available until May , crazy times 😬 hopefully we'll be back to normal sooner rather than later. Take care xx

You could try a meal plan and freeze the extra so that you have a few meals ready, my method is usually cook once and eat twice, it saves a lot of time and sanity 😄 The shops weren't too bad, the worst sections were toiletries and canned goods but there was still plenty of choice so you could find alternatives. Thank you Jackie, you are very kind! Oliver has definitely tested me over the years with his food issues but the problem was really how much i was bothered by it/self conscious about others thoughts. I try to celebrate the little things, like the fact he now eats rice which was a big no no before 😊

That was fun to watch all the different items. We dont have those American stuff in Australia. My teen did a mystery box from a sweets company once here and it was full of Sour Heads candy, shes never eaten sour candy since!!! Good way to curb that craving. My favorite would be the peanut butter Snickers would love that one. You put this up a couple of days ago but it wouldn't open. Damn YT still giving you grief. Anyway Thankyou that was fun. Hubby is sorted for snacks for ages now.👍
The fudge milky way and peanut butter snickers were my favourite, i also enjoyed the calypso drinks. I'm not a big candy person but chocolate is definitely my thing! Lucky the kids have Easter eggs otherwise they'd be stealing all of it 😂

@@brilliantbutblue omg i can't wait for school to be back on, homeschooling is driving me nuts. We haven't been given any ideas as to when it will happen though but its at least another 2wks of lockdown and they are due another holiday in the last week of may so will probably be after that 🙄

Thank you. It’s nice to see what others are managing to get. The queues to get in the supermarkets where I live in north west England are ridiculous. An hour to get in and then another queue to pay for half an hour. I’m just trying to go once a week for myself and my elderly Dad. No chance of any on line delivery slots for 4 weeks either. And when I went shopping the other day, still no rice, eggs or pasta available. Will try Aldi or Lidl next, I think. Thank you for showing us your purchases. Keep safe.🙂
I chose a Lidl in a small village near me and tried to get there for opening. The queues down in the town are insane, you have to queue for over an hour just to get in! Hope your well xx

I know 😩 the footage did have sound but it disappeared during uploading, i didn't find out until I'd already deleted the file. Big lesson learned! I'll be checking my uploads from now on. I was only yacking about the items and the total cost - grocery items was £196 and misc was £20.
The Cinammon Scrolls and 30 minute bread rolls looked divine. Who doesn't love Breakfast for dinner! Ive been known to have my fair share of Oatmeal or Eggs on toast for dinner. Your hubby must be a lumberjack! He has a hearty appetite indeed. Hope your kids appreciate the effort you go to in providing delicious dinners every single night. Great ideas👍
He does have a big appetite 😂 he does a lot of manual work and if i don't give him large portions he just eats cereal or junk 🙄 I'm sure the kids will appreciate it when they are older, I've started writing down the recipes that are awesome so hopefully they can be passed on when they are interested!

I lost volume when you went to the meat, toiletries and random stuff😭😭 Anyone else had same problem?. Thanks for the Dole Whip idea, Googled the recipe yum yum lm picking up frozen pineapple chunks to make that. Why the long line at supermarket just to get in. That was hectic, (Was it extra busy for Easter). No such situation here. Great meal plan ideas for the fortnight. Thankyou 👍

Those queues are quite long. I haven't been out of the house since middle of March so I've not seen all this. Be glad when it's all over. You bought some lovely food there
It was twice as bad when I left! I think shopping takes me an hour longer at the moment just from the extra queuing. I wish I could get an online shop but there's nothing available until May , crazy times 😬 hopefully we'll be back to normal sooner rather than later. Take care xx

All your meals sound delicious. I can meal plan as there is only me so it wouldn't work. I think it's getting easy to get food in the shops now. Great haul
You could try a meal plan and freeze the extra so that you have a few meals ready, my method is usually cook once and eat twice, it saves a lot of time and sanity 😄 The shops weren't too bad, the worst sections were toiletries and canned goods but there was still plenty of choice so you could find alternatives. @@youmeplus3511 I always cook for 2 and take the other portion to work in the morning, but I'm self isolating and haven't been out of the house since the 20th March so things are a little tricky at the moment. It's nasty times. You stay safe and well ❤️
