  Taxi is always scam! In San José (Costa Rica) a taxi from the airport wanted me to take a ride. - Many others had sad the price in US Dollars, so I told this taxi-driver how much cash I had in USD. - And of we went to my hotel/downtown San José. ..... But he toke all my USD.. and drove me to an ATM where he demaned extra payment - in local currancy.... He called the cops on med. 4 cops and one frightened turist after 21.... - The just waited me out. 2 hours! Before I had to get local cash - making the price doble what we agreed on ... before I entered the taxi. ... and they he left me. Still 3 km. away from my hotel. The taxi driver even had a laminated sign in the taxi, with Visa-card and Mastercard-logo ... but did not take any. Only local cash. One reason is they have to pay around 3% i fee to card-provider.

  Yours is one of the best videos of India. You've picked a state that most foreign tourists don't go to, because they all go to Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. It's good for people to know that culturally and even safety wise, this is better!

  I’m an astrophotographer and JT is my go-to for dark skies. I’ve spent many nights alone in the dark in remote locations - but if it makes you feel any better, the first time I tried to get Milky Way shots inside the park, I couldn’t concentrate because it was SO dark and the environment seemed so alien. Over the years I’ve figured out ways to get past this - shooting near campsites, near the observatory, or at least in parking lots - but JT is freaky at night and I don’t blame you for your reaction. One of the great things about JT is the abundance of secluded, well-outfitted but inexpensive short-term rentals - these days when I go I just set up in the yard of my rental and get great shots without feeling like I’m in a horror movie.😂
