    @@Ronh83 A fact! Cutting out some tyre lugs, some brass in the front, laying the shocks a little bit flatter is enough in my experience. Just love the Rock Pirates stuff because I think it looks great and adds some extra shock positioning options.

    @@Ronh83 Thanks for the reply. I'm about to order the same one and it's been a little difficult to find reviews/installation videos about them. What color did you paint the body first? My guess is white is the best option for the crazy Ivan skin.

  • @Ronh83
    @Ronh834 ай бұрын

    @@tonsoffun49Actually I think black would be the best. I painted mine with Tamiya gun metal since I did not have enough black and I was impatient :) Black paint as backing will give you a black border between the door panels and such, makes it look more real. And also use a heatgun to make the vinyl mold to the body, but not to much of course.

  • @tonsoffun49
    @tonsoffun494 ай бұрын

    @@Ronh83 I really appreciate the tip on paint color. I bought white yesterday. Lol. I'll go buy some black today as what you said makes much more sense. I haven't bought the skin yet, so I was unsure exactly how it looks when not on the body.
