  INCREDIBLE, IF I CLOSE MY EYES I CAN IMAGINE IT IS A FULL ORCHESTRA PLAYING AND NOT SAXOPHONES! I AM I BRAZILIAN JAZZ SAXOPHONIST. ALSO INCREDIBLE IS THE DIFFERENCE OF SOUND BETWEEN JAZZ AND CLASSICAL MUSIC IN THIS INSTRUMENT. IN SOME SAX CONCERTS I THINK IT IS A CELLO PLAYING 🙂 - I WOULD SAY: THOSE ARE 2 DIFFERENT PLANETS. IF YOU HAVE A CLASSICAL SOUND AND PLAY JAZZ IT IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. AND THE OPPOSITE ALSO HA HA HA. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL AND GREETINGS FROM SWITZERLAND

  As a saxophonist, I am truly greatful to see saxophone ensembles playing more classics.This was such a beautiful arrangement! I am so discouraged that saxes have been pinholed into the Jazz genre. Dont get me wrong, I completely love Jazz (especially Big Band) and saxes are such a beautiful sounding instrument there, but they are such a great edition to the modern day orchestra. In conclusion, I will always include saxes in my Orchestral pieces. :)

  A very creative piece! The tone was better than usual, a little too French for my taste but better than most! Technique was superb. See (John Edward-Kelly) if you care to hear the best! Good job!

  We were supposed to play this as a sax ensemble almost 1 year ago today, then Coronavirus hit. I listen to this and to "Jupiter: The Planets" by Gustav Holst (the other piece we were supposed to perform) to mourn what could've been. Saxophone isn't my primary instrument, but whenever I held it and was a part of the few rehearsals we were able to accomplish, I felt a surge of power and confidence I'd never felt before. This piece is astonishing, as are the performers. Here's to my senior year in high school, the forever doomed class of 2021.
