No that’s true. The FAA HAS NOT changed any flight paths. That lie needs to be stopped. The extended legs of the traffic pattern have always and will always be a part of a normal traffic pattern. VFR aircraft are not on IFR flight plans, and thus are not controlled by departure or approach control. The conspiracy theory that the FAA came in and changed something is being spread by self serving politicians and people who are ignorant of the difference between IFR traffic and VFR traffic or how the national airspace system works.

Hey Brad...I stumbled across this posted video while searching for other postings on RMMA airport noise. If you still live in the RMMA area, and would like to join a slack channel group of people advocating for noise mitigation let me know.

Brad Fountain ... another thing that perhaps goes unnoticed by some, is the fact that the animals are "licking the ground". It's a way of absorbing the salt from the soil. Therefore, in many farms, this salt is supplied in the form of saltpeter, a chemical composition that is available to them.

Interesting ... the animals carry a numbering on the back, and the numbers are straight with each other (3, 5, 6, 9, and so on). What could these numbers determine? Would they be lots of arrival ??

Interesting observation Jose. I know that they limit the number of Buffalo in the park. Maybe they number them for that reason.

José Oswaldo Pedrosa The CSP bison brand consists of a Lazy S (South Dakota) followed by the last digit of the animal's year of birth. For example, an S7 would could mean either 2007 or 2017. The burros are restricted to the southeast portion of the Wildlife Loop Road. They can usually be found begging for food south of the corrals near milepost 9. I hope this helps!

Dean Lockwood, that's cool, my friend! Very interesting your explanation. Thank you for this. One of my dreams, Brazilian that I am, besides visiting the United States, my greatest passion would be to ride a motorcycle through this valley. Someday... maybe?? Hugs from Brazil!

José Oswaldo Pedrosa I hope that you're able to make those dreams come true! We have some of the best riding in the United States, right here in the Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming.

My wife and I have ridden in the Black Hills many times Jose. Dean Lockwood is correct, this is one of the best riding destinations anywhere in the US. Here is a video link to a couple of the most scenic areas. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZYGpp9lshqitdqg.html
