In 2014 I got into full battery electric cars with a leased Nissan LEAF Tekna 24kWh, and got a 2nd-hand, 2016 Hyundai IONIQ Electric 28kWh in 2018. In 2019, after driving 40,000 miles in these two EVs the super efficient IONIQ had to go, when I moved to Denmark, and began a new EV adventure... riding pedelec e-bikes!

I have been thinking about this for me. Local runabout is a very interesting idea.
I honestly think how fast EVs can accelerate is a bad thing. It's a waste of power, but my main problem, most people can't handle it. The Nissan Leaf can do 0-60 in under 8 seconds, and that's the base model. No wonder some EVs have such High insurance.
Thank you for your video! Does it works well when it it hot? Personally prefer fabric seats, but this complication is more premium.

Interesting. I'm about to take delivery of a used 2020 Ioniq Electric and was scared and relieved in very short succession that the 12v battery could be run down by sitting idle for such a short time but the car has a way to compensate for it. I'm plan to limit the max charge to 80% or 90% as is recommended, so I would hope the 12v battery would be recharged at something less than 100% EV battery charge. It does make me wonder now if you can "jump start" an EV 12v battery with the portable battery-powered jump starters on the market for ICEs. I keep one in our ICE car in case it's needed, and may consider buying another for the EV if it's an equal or greater concern/

I'll be honest, I got a tear in my eye as you went under Stockport Viaduct. My old home town. I have a 30kwh LEAF which is almost perfect for 95% of my driving. The only 2 niggles I have is on my frequent Airport runs (I live 135km from Bordeaux Airport and my kids visit us in SW France). (niggle 1) The range is frustratingly not enough (niggle 2) Chademo charging is quite difficult to find. I think a used 38kwh Ioniq addresses those 2 niggles. (1) The range would get me there and back (2) CCS charging makes it less stressful to go on longer trips. Having said that, Tesla Model 3s are hitting the used market in decent numbers now. The Standard Plus with LFP battery is very tempting. It means a 100% battery can be available on the drive every morning. What's not to love about that?

I have an Ioniq 28 KWH Electric vehicle. While attempting to charge my car through AC, the connection failed, and the car did not receive a charge. I encountered the same issue with CCS, despite the cable appearing to be in good condition. It was successfully charging just two days ago. What could be the issue?
Nice information . Whether Automatic Transmission gets detoriated when we transmit from Driving mode to Neutral in running cindition above 30 miles/hr .

You are not running your lithium battery down to zero, when your car says zero. It just reaches a set point in the BMS for shut off. This is not damaging the battery. Actually running it to zero would.
Those are very mild conditions. In -25C the 28.8 older one is sure roughing it. Even a 100km is a nail biting experience it seems.
-2 is not a challenge at all. Try Canadian winters at -20 to -30C. 200Wh/km if you're lucky according to a few videos.
it doesn't recognise the kerb. mostly there are no white lines on the left. Only good for motorway if you are in the middle lane

I just had the 3rd service on my ionic 38kw and it cost £69.
I have just bought my first EV, a 2016 ioniq 28kwh,with 85000 miles on the clock. It's fabulous, I'm getting 5.8mpkwh from it, range this morning after charging on the granny cable shows 138 miles. No sign of battery degradation. But the granny cable is proving reluctant to release, so I wanted to say how helpful this video was, showing how to use the emergency release. Many thanks!
Ever noticed that sometimes when using a debit card you are asked to chip and pin? This is a card requirement if you use it frequently. Instavolt chargers decline your debit card when it wants to do chip and pin. Either use a different card or try the app.
Is it possible to know that tuning the rear heater also turn on the heated wing mirrors on the car.

I think this Electric cycle is very attractive looking, and the turning circle seems very good, and it seems to be very useful and versatile in its everyday use, parking, again I don't think this a really a problem with it's small footprint, as for the waght I would feel a little more secure with that extra little bit of waght myself all in all, a fine looking machine, only sticking point maybe the price, but I think it would more than pay for its self in the long term 😊.
Had a layover last year in Munich. The downtown seemed much quieter than my last visit ~ 10 years ago. I could see there were a lot of hybrids and EVs on the streets this time.
