  I know nothing but please tell me if I’m right 😅 it looks like he tried to go short angle on an open stance backhand. He got the torso turn and the correct swing path for the spin but maybe he took it too far in front of him and didn’t hit it as cleanly. He was probably scared of looping it back cause your backhand is sick lol

  Gotta put away the volley As soon as he knew it was a good deep hit that would have a weak return, he shoulda rushed the net. Instead he waited till the ball was hit then rushed the net, making the volley weak

  Well the placement of that slice will always be an invite for a move to the net by the opponent. Yet the slice ball wasnt executed great, came up to much making you a sitting duck. In this situation id try to slice it for the baseline. Also your shots before, try to go deep, there is no pressure coming from ur side.

I haven't heard much about GB college tennis, but it sounds like you just decided not to try for pros. That's cool tho, I completely respect that and agree as well.   I’m not near your level, but yeah, the pass could’ve been hit harder or you could’ve lobbed. Another thing as you could’ve done the pass cross court.
