  Two questions one what happens if you have cracks in the linoleum tiles how do you do fix that?.. also unfortunately I don’t have another kitchen and the kitchen is on the way to the bathroom. So what do you do for 30 days I don’t have somewhere else to live can you still walk over it lightly with socks or what is the best policy?

  I’ve painted a lot of floors and pouring paint on the floor and then spreading it with a roller can be a disaster if your floor is not completely level. Floor paint should be rolled on in thin layers, especially when doing a large area. Also, Rust-Oleum makes a paint called Floor Cover that is specifically designed for painting vinyl and ceramic tiles. Porch paint is for painting porous surfaces such as wood and concrete. For anyone thinking about painting any type of tile I would highly recommend checking out videos on the Rust-Oleum Floor Cover paint.

  Julie- thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your experience and lessons in such a great video. I have found as a kitchen designer that it is almost impossible to complete a kitchen remodel without some regrets. Most of the time though, the highest priorities should be met. I’ve been searching this topic for months and all the info is the same and very general. 🚨 Spoiler alert: they all just say it’s high maintenance and you have to seal it and learn to love patina.   It is an excellent color for low light rooms when nothing else works and it looks fabulous with so many colors and wood tones. We replaced our favorite BM White Dove with this upon a repaint and love the non yellowish creamy, gentle warmth. White dove pairs well with this as does Slate Blue, Silvery Blue and Lookout Point.. Great transitional paint color as well and was glad to hear you describe it as such. Love your videos!

  On the beadboard website I saw they have moisture rated and fire rated. Was debating fire rated for the range wall or since they interlock just in that area. Did you make that decision as well as for which one to use? What made you land on the moisture rated? I don’t know much about codes, but I’m hoping we’ll be all good at the point we may need to sell in the future. I did cream for my walls btw and ended up with BM Lily of the Valley. My cabinet are an elegant traditional brown though
