I now get the pleasure to show you what it is like to fly a bush plane around the country and beyond!

Forty years ago my brother and I were on a moose hunt with a friend who lived inTanana, Alaska. They had a toddler and his nick name was "Bugs", a busy little boy always on the go. I asked Ken how he came up the name. "Oh he's always eating the dead flies off the window sills" Thats one way to earn a name! I think a big old fly would look good on the Kit Fox.

You should put Evinrude, the dragonfly from The Rescuers cartoon.
Congrats on the new plane! I know you are familiar with KitFoxes but make sure to gusset those rudder pedals! Also, taping the elevator gap really helped my KF4 1200. A little aft weight might be needed with that 912 big bore up front. Have fun and looking forward to videos to come!

A flying airplane is 10x more valuable than a project that's 99% done 😂 Looks like a nice plane, congrats! Unpopular opinion, stol contests are boring and nothing but rewardless risk. Forget the contests and do real back country flying trips, optimize the plane for that!

I fly a Skyranger with a 912. We added a strap from intake manafold to air cleaner and have never had a carburetor come off in 20 years.
