I think the ghosts of the dead sailors were definitely helping the protagonist escape the ship, so he wouldn't meet the same fate they did - and the one that you see in particular just as the elevator rises is the same individual we see in the video. Something spooky and sad about how everyone on this ship were condemned, but they still linger beyond death. The statues, once crew members, still whistle back and stay in areas they were known to inhabit in life.

I know it's late to comment on this, but find the ace of spades card game is called the Three card Monte. It's done through sleight of hand. It's also how cups and balls work. A word of advice, you might be attracted to try the game to get money(gamble actually)but don't as it is also used by cons and you will always lose. Also the name of the dummy in the game is called Monte, a play on the name of the trick.

Game: explains rules in english and 50 other languages...if anomaly, press "bottom button in the elevator you came from" or if no anomaly, "bottom button in the another elevator" which is slightly off from normal english but hardly hard to understand. Gab's crew: "That's the one thing I hate about these games is that the rules aren't super clear." Me: That's the one thing I hate about watching these kinds of games with certain kinds of players, they pay no attention and then blame the game for their own inadequacies.

they should add squeaky sound effects when youre in the crashpad on the rubbery stairs. and the rattle of balls and the echoey slapping of hands crawling through the slide. theyre so beautifully rendered but the sound effects just dont do the art justice right there..
