My channel may not have long to survive. I have had 2 strikes now, one more and I'm gone.
Firstly, a BIG thanx to all who have enjoyed the records, I appreciate all comments.
I'm not one for commenting on things people say, sorry bout that. I have always tried to keep a low profile.
The important thing is the music that these great writers, artists, producers, and arrangers have given us.
All I have ever wanted to do was keep this music out there, for I'm sure there is still a lot of people in this world who would stumble across these old 45's and fall in love with some of them.
I find it strange that record companies would object to these musical heroes getting just a little bit more exposure, even in such a small way as the records I post.
The ONLY reason i started the channel was to take these records off the shelves and try to find a loving audience for them.
No personal gain, for i get all i need just playing them.
Comments I have had from some of the people who actually created the music and their families have touched me deeply, and made me so thankful that i ever bothered to start the channel.
I am going to keep posting 'till they lift the needle from the groove for good. I just wanted to say thankyou, before I don't have the chance to
Music, whatever the music...as perennial as the rising sun, and still under your skin when the whole day's done!

I've been trying to find this song
Very nice song, the vocalist also a very good voice.
It sounds like Al Green indeed. Al Green recorded many of his hits at Hi Records, a label known for its distinctive soul sound. His collaboration with producer Willie Mitchell at Hi Records resulted in numerous classic tracks, including "Let's Stay Together" and "Tired of Being Alone".
This is hot❤❤❤❤
Memories. . I had the 45rpm record. Beautiful soul ballad. Still listening July 13th 2024. ❤
roy hamilton was a complete gem... i wondering was elvis around this guy
You Bet !!!!! Elvis imitated Roy Hamilton.
Reminds me of when I was on campus as a 18 yr old…..
Mikey's Oldies But Goodies from 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s.
Dammmm!!!❤
Dammmm!!!❤
Now I'm not sure anyone knew this but this is the man that Elvis Presley copied his style of singing from his name is ROY HAMILTON....
I played this on Soul much soul radio!
👍👍👍soulhawk
Cool
That southern soul flavour is so distinct, Chip Morman brought these ladies to where they belonged, that potent fella Spectre had them singing too many pop records. They sound a lot like the Sweet Inspirations on the piece.
This is a very good dancefloor filler, how comes the Americans didnt heard this bouncy music. This song has all the ingredients to be million seller. Brilliant selection..Hawk.
Beautiful
Tried to find info on this group but nothing as of right now

Here's a lovely smooth bit of crossover that I was again put on to by the great and late Randy Cozens of the Soulgate Mafia. It's just a simple vocal over a minimal background, but the soft gorgeous quality of her voice emotes so much the song takes on much higher status... sublime ethereal beauty.
This is my mother singing and Connie and Deena Newman. My mother name is Mildred aka Millie. I used to watch them rehearse this song on Rich in between Lynnwood and Lawton in Detroit, Michigan and for family flat we was upstairs. I watched the song so many times I picked up and thought it was part of the group then he would tell me to go outside and play laugh out loud those days.
Detroit, Michigan meets Chicago/Harvey, Illinois
Wonder how this songwriting session came about... Carl Wolfolk Co wrote a lot of Tyrone Davis early hits....Don Davis and Kent Barker from Detroit wrote for Johnnie Taylor and Bobby Eaton was with The Brothers Of Soul who wrote for Ruby Andrews amongst others and were a dynamic group in their own right.
He was in the age of 13 ,when he sang this song . Is this spooky song ….?
Brenda and the Tab's in top form, thanks to Van McCoy. Song was also a 1972 UK hit for the Flirtations. RIP Brenda Payton (1945-1992),
I'm going to stop the blueness in you...🎵🎶💕💕
