Thank you for the practical demonstration, I suggest you can improve in 2 things: pour the mixture slowly with constant stirring so that maximum precipitation can occur without product contamination, second one is handling the product for recrystallization without spilling the product.

@@lilleo865not LSD, the henry reaction performed with slightly different reactants is used to prepare precursors for various amphetamines and psychoactive phenethylamines. Google "Alexander Shulgin" for some context.
