The updates in preparation have nearly broken my game save file. A sim invites my character out on a date and the game crashes every time I try to access the character.. the lot where they are going became bugged. I tried to visit the lot with a different sim.. and the game crashed every time. It took me HOURS to get the date to essentially be cancelled. The only thing that uncorrupted the (now three Sims that are stuck in the glitch) was to evict the household and then move them back into the original house. I lost probably 20 hours of play time. EVEN lost the saves during that period. So at first I thought.. okay they BROKE DATES with the update. Then I tried to just travel with a sim. NOPE. That’s broken too. My game crashed again and the instance was reset when I logged back in. Mind you I was not playing with mods.. this is just base game that is currently broken.
Basically my sim accepted the date invite and immediately the game was corrupted. I was so thankful to not have a total loss of my save file. I have 3000 hours of play time on this save file. It was so stressful to have my game crashing over and over. To not even be able to open the corrupted households… 👀 I tried everything. I even deleted all the lots and put new gallery lots in place of the ones they were supposed to be visiting. I tried eviction to be able to access the lots in build mode. I logged out of all accounts. I tried turning on the dx11 thing (which then wouldn’t let me open the sims game period.. and yes my computer supports the dx11 driver). I was trying everything I could. The day before this there was an update that crashed my game ~10 times. I should have backed up my save because that was basically a PSA announcement for what was to come.
Oh no!! I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been dealing with that. What a terrible way to start a new pack 🙊 That would scare me so bad if my game broke like that😳 I’m sure you have already but I’ll mention it just in case, have you tried to repair the game in the EA app? Also, I would definitely make sure to report to bug to EA if you haven’t already (here’s the link if you need it: answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs). I hope they get it fixed soon!

I love the new stuff in this update, looks good. I would love to play lovestruck tonight but since this update kinda made some new bugs its almost unplayable. Since this update every single sim in constantly mean and argue with eachother by just intruducing themselves to another sim 😢
Oh no really?? I haven’t really done any gameplay this week so I haven’t seen that yet! I’ll be doing some today with the new pack so fingers crossed they’re not too bad 😅🤞🏼

@@plumeriaplay i really hope so, kinda hoping that when lovestruck launch for real it will go away. Have you tried making a new safe then just talk to sims and see how it goes? Kinda interesting to see if it happens to others too
I just tried it with Teddy and I think you're right! I went to the Roomies house in a new save and had her talk to Travis. Even though I was doing nice interactions the game kept giving me mean things in the first menu. I think you can get past it but you have to micro manage the conversation. Teddy was mean if I wasn't controlling her and she doesn't have any "bad" traits. I hope they tune that soon!

No hate just educating, the "trim pieces" on the bob hairstyle are called baby hairs and those were not box braids they were locs and that style of locs is traditionally masculine which is why it has a lining. Also if you just press ctrl shift c you can cheat and get more money

Good choices! I want to get these lots and play in Windenburg now! Windenburg is my favorite world so far in the sims. I love the cafe lots! The choices you made are fun date night spaces too! The lots offer a lot of different gameplay! Um, how about Oasis Spring? I am not sure if you did that yet or not.

Oh nooo, poor Hyacinth 😢 that's why I have a small mod that removes these silly deaths from strong emotions cause I can't deal with my sims dying ridiculous death from being ashamed 😅 Great episode nonetheless!

Ooh, I love the twins' names, they're very cute 🥰 I personally really dislike the Wiggly trait because it seems to me that with it, they're much slower to learn the infant skills, especially at the beginning, but I'm not sure if it's actually true.

A bookstore lot type would be good! Lovely build. So glad your kitten is settling in. 😊 I use the new bistro kit a lot as well. Lovestruck though is giving more game pack vibes, I would have been more excited.

I'd recommend getting seldom sleepy and then get, okay, I know it sounds weird, one of the lowest energy beds for mom so in case she does get tired during the night, you can put her in bed and she'll stay until the morning and you can super speed through the night.

Oh no! Hyacinth☹ If their mood is anger, mortified, that kind of thing when they age up, they usually meet the grim reaper. I love Jelly's boots! Those are really cute! When the crystal tree is like that you click it and send the crystals to the Smithsonian before you throw the tree away. It happened in my game and I had the sim send it off. I think it came to 250 per crystal that was sent off. L names, Landry Lyric If you aspiration shift while Ashton is working on whatever at that time, you build up her points quicker. Just a helpful tip 🙂 It can be a little chaotic with all that's going on in this challenge though. Baby daddy-Salim Benali from city living.
I have never had a sim die from being mortified before 😭😭 oh I wish I would’ve known that about the crystal tree! Cute, cute names 😍 I know I need to shift aspirations but I always forget in the moment 😂 I do want those satisfaction points though so I’ll have to try that! Thank you for all the suggestions 🫶🏼

That is a sweet picture! That is great he can be with the dogs now! I am excited for the features. I am so glad they have married couple dates too! It scares me too because I went to have a wedding the other day with my wedding stories and it didn't work. I absolutely love book stores! I could spend hours there! The build came out so nice! It is a great spot and I love the way you decorated the fountain.
