Cross stitch question. What kind of lap stand and floor stand
I don't use a lap stand. When I did a long time ago I used an elan by artisan designs. Floor stand I like my lowery. It will hold anything, q snap, hoop, scroll rods.

This was a long time ago. I don't seal my diamond paintings any longer. But if you use mod podge glitter blast it puts extra glitter on it.
I love your 1950s glasses. I wanted that style myself but the place I went to didn't have much variety and there were none I liked. Really disappointed. You look great in all of them.

Since I got back the states after a month, I don't want to even leave my apartment. I just want to be a hermet, so I get the feeling of not wanting to socialise. I just don't want to deal with people I just feel mentally exhausted after all the socialising it's out of my comfort zone when I was out but really enjoyed ohio.
I roll and clip my diamond paintings also! Great idea. 👍👍👍

Hi Danielle Enjoy your videos. I have not read any fiction or listen to music ( except in my car) since my sister died from STAGEIV BREAST CANCER on February 14,2015. Well, I got kicked grief class at my church because I told the girl who brought me that her new car had no safety features. Another lady told me that, that was none of my business. No wonder I don't go to church anymore. You are not old, I am 67, and you are young enough to be my daughter.
I used to roll and clip my paintings on the desk all the time with no ill effects. When I first started diamond painting 5 yrs ago I just had to have all the gadgets! Most went unused. I have thinned out my "stuff" and kept one fancy pen, use the wax and tray that comes with kit and everything always turns out just fine. Congrats on Bills retirement, I cant wait until that change happens for my husband. I kinda like having him around 😅
I have a pool noodle at the top of my light pad because if it wasn't there the painting would get a crease. The pool noodle works great. Also what do they call those magnets with the knob on them ? I really like them

Well I do diamond painting and stitching for my hobbies and lately I have been having a lot of mid back pain. I had to stop DP. I had the same problem with my DAC canvas creasing. The pool noodle will work. The thing I was using wouldn't stick down so I am using nothing at the moment. Lol.

Hi Danielle, thank you for the update. Love your office and craftroom. I want to turn my sister and my bedroom into an office and craftroom, but my Personal assistant says no. I am a 67 year old single never married, never lived on my own, whose sister and I spent all our trust, and after my sister died had to sell most of the properties to get out of debt. Exactly. Once you reach the no reason to have to explain anything the guilt feeling start to subside. Meaning oh i didnt stitch today because blah blah blah or i didnt vacuum today because blah blah blah. Let go of all that stupid stress and as we get older we dont need it anyway. Love your stitching progress. Stay relaxed and have fun.

Hi. I just got into cross stitch again after a long break. You have introduced me to perforated paper…I love it! I also love the CM designs. The 14 count paper is sold in 9” x12” size. How do you fit these beautiful designs on this paper? According to my calculations, most of them will not fit. I look forward to your videos. Thanks for the tips and tricks!
I stitch my Carolyn manning designs on 18 count perforated paper. That is how they fit.

Danielle, I used to be the same way with makeup. Working healthcare during Covid cured me. We literally weren’t allowed to wear makeup because our N95 masks were being cleaned and reused. Makeup didn’t work with that. I only really put on full makeup on date nights.
