  Hey, I don’t have a travel backpack. Would a duffel bag be ok? It has straps so can be worn as a backpack if needed? I will be checking it in on the plane with my sleeping bag inside and I have a 20L backpack for day bag.

  Anything will work! As long as it’s not a hard shell suitcase most bags would work

  Hi, how did you attach your sleeping bag to your backpack securely? I am doing a similar g adventures tour soon and I’m checking my bag in but worried about my sleeping bag getting lost. Or would you recommend taking it with me with my check in bag instead? Any photos of it attached would be appreciated. Thanks.

  I took mine with me on the plane and attached it with 2 carabines. Would not recommend doing this if it goes in checked luggage

  Thank you for creating this! Would you be interested in collaborating on the development of a mobile app that allows you to access and create interactive maps to share with others? The app lets you invite friends to participate in the map creation process and allows you to interact with friends within the map itself. The app is almost ready, but would you like to try it before we launch? If so, with your feedback we could fine tune it to create something that you and your fans would love.

  Hi! Was your airline ok with the sleeping bag attached to the backpack as for carry on dimensions? I have a similar size pack and I’m worried about the sleeping bag on the outside being too large! Thanks!

  They didn’t say anything to me, but technically it’s too big. In my opinion i was like, what am i supposed to do? Just check in a sleeping bag? Bc everything else was size appropriate for carry on

  You can have multiple layers with directions but similar to google maps it’s limited in the # of stops

  @@travelaimes I do not understand what you mean # of stops... I thought we could not add directions inside a layer but create a layer with directions only, I did make one and when I try to create another the options are not possible to select, but only select a line. Maybe is a bug on My Google Map

  Hi, very good info. About the last point of hopping on the train that is on time then the actual train, question is what about the seat reservation which was brought on the delay train. Thanks.

  Your seat reservation would not count anymore. You can request a refund for this. But it might be that you have to give up your seat for someone else who reserved it

  Does Google actually think that people don't take TRAINS, for god's sake? Then why is there no rail option when adding directions? AS IF I want to drive on the wrong side of the road from London to Liverpool...no thanks, give me British Rail, Google!

  *sigh* one of my biggest shopping regrets is not getting this bag... I love so much about it, and the wine colour was so perfectly my colour. I'll have to cross my fingers that they come out with a good equivalent, or that I find it on eBay or something 😅

  Hello - Is there a way to create a layer but be able to adjust the numbering so it doesn't read 1,2,3 rather it would read 5,6,7, etc. I am doing a report for work and there's a list of properties within a market and there's numerous submarkets within the market. I am showing a map of each of the properties in each submarket and I would like the numbering to reflect what the property list is showing when I create a new layer. I would really appreciate any advice for this!

  It depends on your nationality, if you can buy on arrival. But i’m from belgium and only got the kaza visa at the border for zimbabwe, everything else was visa free for me

  Good tutorial but I suggest making layers based on POI, so like restaurants, museums, parks etc etc. but it is up to each individual to do what they want tbh.

  The 1/5 points needed can be from flights and attractions too. So if you book a flight, hotel and 1 activity per trip you end up getting 3 points per place you visit 😌 I didn't sign up until after I acquired 3 points. So I'm level 2 now, could of been almost level 3!

  We had 4 couples, so 8/21 people everyone else was solo traveling so i’d say it was a good mix

  I’m not that experienced with travelers with a disability and what procedures are like. I think your best bet is to reach out to the airline. And of course you are required compensation for this!
