It was definitely sad when all the local fast food places stopped serving fish and chips options. That would be kfc, sonic and Popeyes. I don’t consider Culver’s or McDonald’s or any other place fish fillet slop actually qualifying as fish tho my hubby loves those it’s his favorite thing from McDonald’s 🤣 I wouldn’t eat those better fish and chips anymore anyway but I was still getting non sweet tea and things and noticed when they stopped. It was a sad little sign. I miss the yogurt and berry parfaits that McDonald’s used to have too. Drive throughs about 10-15 years ago did have some options for self respecting people 🤣 wraps, salads, grilled chicken that seemed to actually be chicken, baked potatoes at Wendy’s etc. but not anymore afaik. I don’t go through at all I only drink filtered water now. I still watch running on empty food review and it all looks tragic. I’m guessing even high end will start going next. My hubby and son went up to Alaska and brought back some halibut they caught in dry ice (processed and vacuum sealed before the flight, it wasn’t raw) he wants to move up there. I’m guessing that’s the way to go for anyone that can do it :) just pull it out of the ocean themselves.

i heard in another podcast about c60 that you actually can "overclock" your mitochondria in producing ATP because they carry an electrical charge limit. If the mitochondria gets "revved" too high, it can hit that limit and explode or pop like bubbles.

I just want to note, that what works for men doesn't always work for women and the flip side of that. This interview was a revelation. Some background, I'm hypothyroid, but fixing it. I don't have a lactose problem or a glucose issue. Based on a bunch of research, I'm increasing my protein bc I'm not young anymore and it matters. Okay, all of that to say, adding 2T rice bran to my protein shake has been the complete game changer. Every.single.time. I made a damn protein drink (make my own with no fillers) with whey isolates + taurine + glycine + alcar I wanted to puke. Same for eating a more than 3 eggs. Same for doubling the sardines in my salad. puke. full and miserable. A bunch of google revealed nothing. I'm hydrated. I'm not lactose intolerant. I was taking ox bile & enzymes with it. Two tablespoons of rice bran and all my desire to puke has evaporated. What? Really? Now I want to try these aloe polysaccharides. Thank you, once again for an amazing interview.

Couple additions- High carb, or high sugar, even frequent coffee or alcohol intake CAUSES B1 deficiency. Goitrogens are a myth. Lectins are mostly cooked out of the beans when finished for the meal, and at that point only a problem when the person is highly sensitive.
