  Why are you putting tiles around the house. This is not your dream house it is place to stay while building your dream house Paint that area with white You are wasting money that you are goings to need for your dream house. Just my opinion. Good luck God bless you

  Gitiriba, you're doing great. However, I think putting tiles on the outer area around the belting of the roof is a waste of money. This is not your dream house. Now, focus on tiling the floor. The outer area around the roof belting can be painted with waterproof paint. I think your workmen are drawing out the work to earn more money based on how you're paying them. Changing that payment method should be considered or get new masons and carpenters for your dream house project. More work should be done based on observation.

  I think the tile is there as a mean of waterproofing and to chennel the water to drain which is smart.

  @vibezpromoent That's not my point. I knew about the tiling area for water catchment that would lead to a water tank when it rains. He mentioned in the video that he would place tile around that outer area. That's what my comment referred to.

  There is a drained on the top the tiles protect the water from soaked the walls there is a hole in one of the corners to lead the water to the tank so the channels are between the roof and the tiles
