  My grandmother was born in Wrexham but always followed rugby, she is alive currently, she lives on the Wirral right now and when she passes, I want to cry to this at her funeral, she was born a Welsh woman, so it’s more than lawful to play this for her

  Speaking as a half-Welsh, Half-Hebridean Gael. Throughout my life, I have felt somewhat arrested by my lack of both Gàidhlig and Gymraeg. Now, living in England, I decided to study in Wrexham - to feel closer to my Welsh heritage, which dates back many, many years. I have never felt the need of liberation, more so then what I have now - living amongst the English and gaining a good understanding of how they view us. The dependent little nations that they constantly fund. I have never felt so arrested, with never being able to express my identity.

  I've been listening to this song at lesat twice a day for over a year now. I know the song is about the Welsh Language and that they kept the language even though Brittan tried to get rid of it. HOWEVER, as a person who has drug-resistant depression (No Medications have worked for me), this song is INCREDIBLE. With Depression, sometimes when you wake up in the morning all you can say is "I'm Still Alive...". This song almost "Gives you permission" to feel that way. To be proud of the fact we made it another day, and we're still here. And the part about being surrounded by Darkness but ready to see the dawn". I cannot express what this song has meant to me. I CAN say that he's just released his autobiography in English and it is INCREDIBLE. His live could EASILY be made into a movie (Including someone trying to get him tied up in a plan to "Unalive" the Prince many years ago. I won't say what happened, but what an INCREDIBLE man, story, and song! I don't know what to say other than this song has literally kept me going!

We have, I thought, about six or seven songs that we could choose as a substitute for our National Anthem if we had to--and each one would still be far better than the anthem of most other countries.   AMAZING - I am Scottish but this is a cracking anthem. Our nations enjoy the rivalry but this makes me proud to be British. To our friends in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland - total respect for our cultures but we are all British. Be proud - stick together. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

  Was at this game with my Da as an Irish fan 🇮🇪 Welsh anthem was incredible and amazing to behold that night. One of the greatest nights for me with my Da that night when we won. My Da passed suddenly 6 months ago and this video really made me tear up remembering the absolute amazing evening that was. Thank you Wales and Cardiff for those wonderful memories 💔💔🇮🇪🇮🇪
