Many that came before will vouch for this, but I’ve put down the war hammer 🔨 plenty of times in my life using a 2” stroke 🎉

Do these motors all come with their own ball valves? Or are there stand alone motors that fit over the top of existing valves?

I found a trick that seems to help with this approach: Digging the dirt, rocks and the like is a lot of work and is tedious. What I tried is a really good power washer, 4,000 psi and 4.2 GPM. I used it to blast as much of the dirt and related stuff that ruins chains. Then I let it dry for a couple of days. After that I was able to cut the stump low enough so that my riding mower could go over it without issue. My chain lasted for 10 stumps, averaging 24" diameter. Without the power wash step, I had to sharpen the chain after a single stump. BTW, these were pine and fir trees.

before grinding your bar, look carefully at your chain. teeth may be softer on right side, they dull faster so it cut better to the left. it's a manufacturing defect. left and right teeth aren't hardened together, they are made on a different line. oven temperature, heating time, quenching bath temperature, Monday morning, Friday afternoon. ... slightly different adjustments = slightly different hardness. easier to see on a full chisel chain. compare how dull is the corner from left to right.

The atom splitter screw log splitter on your tractors auger would wedge those stumps apart in seconds. With or without the chain saw cuts. I've done it!

Are there real world figures for how low each pump lasts? I'm having my pump replaced next month. Don't know the brand but it is believed to be 1/2 horse and 105 deep. It is 45 years old and still working. Since I'm over 70, I'm looking for a pump that will work for 25 years but also not break the S.S. bank!

My crimson sentry trunk is 4ft tall, about 1.5cm thick and is lightly twisty and bent in bits. The trunk itself should hopefully just thicken up and straighten as it widens. It has a grafted top that is slightly to the side so I have it positioned for the wind to be pushing it back slightly. Just hoping it sorts itself out 😅

I learned early on to cut the screen off and throw it away.unless you’re worried about starting a forest fire throw that screen away.another thing is break those black caps off the carb adjustment screws so you can get them to run right.best known method?throw the screen away

In about 1951 I watched my uncle eliminate a stump in his newly cleared field in West Virginia. Drilled a hole with a hand auger. Dropped a stick of dynamite in, packed it with wet clay. I got to turn the switch. WHEW,

An uncle of mine did the same thing inside city limits in the mid 60s. Was really cool to see the stump jump. Cops showed up. He pulled out his license. He got 2 more jobs. 👍👍

I often get the scrap bars and chains that our local chainsaw dealer throws out as they just put new bars and chains on customers saws that go in for servicing. I won't have to buy bars for a long time as ive got heaps of them that still have heaps of life left in them. But I do buy new bars and chains for all my pro saws as we have some pretty hard wood down under, The redgum is especially hard and we need to keep the chains sharp just to cut it and they can go blunt pretty quickly if you don't pay attention. Great video well explained 👏 👍 Hello to all from Australia 🇦🇺

Great tip for winding in a spring, though I personally just wind them in with my thumbs while holding the housing in my hands. It's a case of what works best for you. The worst springs are the ones in a deep housing where you can't wind them in like this.

Great video. Regarding the gearbox, the 81R (Cutter) uses plain conrods and the 81T (Trimmer) uses needle bearings in the conrods. Clutch drum and Spur gear is also different between 81R and 81T as you found out.

❤. Thank you very much this technique is by far the very best video and solution that I have came across. Trouble is my tree is already in the ground for the third year but the trunk is only an inch and a half. I'm wondering if I can still use this technique?
