Angling Anarchy is Musky fishing with zero rules. No one telling us where to go, what to say or what to do. It's just me and my friends fishing for muskies most of the time, with the occasional how-to or multi species video. I've heard people say, "I wish there was a fishing show where regular guys fish with their buddies." Well, that's exactly what we're doing here! Videos will be available Saturday mornings at 8:30 CST.

I was expecting blazer to be the game changer . Idk big guy, that looks really hard to shoot like that holding the forend . I also noticed the wobbly bench . Both of those variables would add 1/2” to my groups . Do you think that had anything to do with the spread ?
What brand are those medusas
@13sports69 Well, technically, all Medussas are made by Chaos Tackle.
NICE FISH! GOOD TIMES" NATE LET'S GO!!!!!!!
So if I have it set at 5 min, then it will save the last 25 minutes at a minimum, or does 5 minutes setting mean 5x1min?
@NRYT2360 The 5 min loop setting will save 6 files. 5 full 1 minute files, and the 6th will be between 1 and 59 seconds.
my cousin dan and i were casting for bass and northern on the english river in ontario some years back . we were catching bass , northern and walleye on spinnerbaits but every other fish had bites on them . after an hour or so we had the bright idea to put on a couple musky baits and troll the small bay we were in hoping to catch a couple trophy northern that were chewying up all the fish there . no musky in that system un fortunately . we hadnt gone 100 yards when dan hooked a heavy fish , i started reeling in to net when i hooked a heavy fish . we thought it was the same fish till the lines seperated . i had a 28.5 walleye and he had a 28 . we caught them on a bulldog and a 6 inch perch jake . one of our best memories fishing .
should i get a extra heavy or medium heavy
You should try fishing the Cisco chain in northern Wisconsin. Awesome lake, holds some 50s
Great video. Caught my 1st Muskie today. Just a little guy, ( maybe 30” ) was a tiger. But it’s a Muskie. I’m hoping if there are small ones around. There will be bigger ones in the area. Cheers.
Brain a week is a long wait…..
Sorry, but I watched Ben's video, and you guys had a great night. 😊
Awesome fish, those dipsticks are killer!
i feel and know your pain. great vide0s
Brian, you’re a dick for making us wait….🤣
Nice video Brian, loke the teaser at the end.
Excellent acceleration through that straight where she ate it. Shit was perfect
Cliffhangers now!!🤦🏼♂️
@trevorhonstrom9651 Gotta do it every now and again! 😉
I was loving the videos
Good video. Thank you. Where or what did you make drain tubes out of?
@timbertrans I'm glad you liked the video! I got the drain tubes at a local marina.
Looping for Dummies! Exactly what I needed.
@jfkcpa Good! I'm glad it was helpful!
Please tell me you got some Timbits up there this time
@tigermanmc00I No dice, big shooter 😂
Mark took my buddy Lucas from The OutdoorConquest channel out today, still waiting to hear how they did but i do know that fish were caught.
@gummo3873 Awesome! Hoping to get out with Mark mid August!
What color fins do you use for eagle lake, green?
@DaChicagoFan4 I have the light blue and green, but I don't think it really matters all that much.
I agree with you completely that pike are better tasting than walleye! They are a little more work to de-bone but worth the effort!
@johnkulhawy472 Absolutely! Pike are amazing table fare!
At you had a great fish fry, I also agree with you that pike are the best tasting fish. Great video Brian.
@mitchellgenz1373 Thank you sir. I appreciate it!
Nice mixed bag and great way to make the best of a mediocre day. Usually our first afternoon on Eagle we catch those pike and pickle them. Great with an adult beverage by the end of the week. Thanks for sharing the fun.
@edwardsedlak4303 It's been a long time since I've pickled pike but I always enjoy having them that way too!
Have you ever tried using the large size rattlebaits for muskies, burn them like a bucktail, or jig them like a Medusa? I tried one on Mille Lacs years ago and had a follow from a giant. Never had the chance to try them again. They just might be that something different that the fish haven't seen and others don't throw.
@thelonesomefisherman7425 I've used some slightly larger rattle baits down on Cave Run years ago to get a few fish. A friend of ours was fishing this spot on Eagle a few weeks after we were there and he got a 50.5" on a rattle bait!
Haha finally another fisherman actually eating those delicious northern pike….love those things
@BluePiggy97 I always say people who don't like them just haven't taken the time to figure out how to clean 'em!
@@AnglingAnarchy true…. There are a 100 different ways and 10,000 tiny bones….cant beat those pike backstraps
Mixed bag fishin, MY FAVORITE type of video honestly! I love watching you guys get big skis but hey any fish catching action is always awesome!
@bionick4281 Sometimes it's nice to just know you're going to catch something lol. Thanks for watching dude!
Rattle Trap Program Dialed 🔥
@benstonefishing LFG!! 👊👊💪💪🔥🔥
Great post once again. Wish I up north again.
@markglabinski526 I appreciate you watching!
Awesome 👍👍👍
@sgangling Thanks dude!
Going in September with my grandson. Can’t wait.
@eyre1720 Good luck!
Man im jealous! Wish i had a KZread fishing channel. We've been going to eagle lake for 20 yrs, we were there end of june, caught 6 muskies this year, most ever. Biggest was 51"
@shawnliddicki8523 Sounds like you had a great trip! Thank you so much for watching!
I had a 16' Smokercraft that I used on the Big Lake many, many times. I had 8 of those Tite-Lok rod holders on mine. Caught a lot of salmonids on that boat. I used Cannon Easy Trolls for riggers. My set-up was very similar to yours. Great video. Thanks for sharing this.
@fishinfool3795 Sounds just like my rig! It's so fun being able to do it all on your own! Thank you so much for watching!
Back in the early '70's I went to Eagle with dad. Muskie size limit was 30in.But I remember seeing barred and spotted muskie caugth. It was hard to even get muskie tackle back then. But I've seen that at Vermillion too barred and spotted which were known to be Leech Lake strain. I never agree with stocking other muskie into known muskie water, just not good for the gene pool. Both lakes had very old Muskie mounts which were barred, the one at Eagle was a monster. There I had one on a second, he tried to eat my shore lunch walleye, I should of let him take it but no leader the odds were against me. Teeth marks on the fish were wide, wish I could have saw it. Things are better now, great video, brought back memories, lots of bigger fish there now! Thanks.
I have a question for you. How do I get this filming stay on all day with plug usb c to solar power charging bank or usb c outlet to car or motorcycle or whatever the battery source is connected to. Do you have the video how to use it all day long? Like 8-10 hours?
@Foryou-bv4lp Here's a video I did about that! kzread.info/dash/bejne/d39nudGNYarXptY.htmlsi=_xUd8MQLbonqATTk
@@AnglingAnarchy Thank you. I have a question. I do not want to misunderstood. I do not need to put battery inside of Gopro. just cord and powerbank. that's it? or do i have to use battery anyway to make the go pro function?
@Foryou-bv4lp You got it. If you're going to power the GoPro externally with a USB cord and power bank, remove the internal battery from the camera.
@@AnglingAnarchy Thank you so much! I cant wait to try this and see how it goes.
Brian, you're no stranger to sizing fish..you definitely don't need to hoist every fish you catch...you know the lenthg of each fish with in an inch inch or two. Cut the hooks and let'em go...the 50+ last season was friggen awesome!! Dinks on Eagle....come on man....hooks out and let'm go. No need to bump and lift all of them. You're an exceptional muskie fisherman. Cheers
@nathanlodder1006 I appreciate the kind words, but I'd say I'm an average musky fisherman at best. I'm just out here trying to have fun and share my love for the sport with whomever will watch my silly videos. As for measuring the fish, holding them up for the video, etc., a few things to consider. I'm working with Muskies Inc. to help get people into the sport and help educate people (that may not be musky fisherman) on proper handling. I think there are quite a few issues that need to be addressed on proper handling before we get to the whole "when to measure a fish" question. I still see people that will net the fish (in an undersized net) and then hoist it into the boat to unhook it. Minutes out of the water with improper tools, too many pictures, only to be unceremoniously dumped back into the water without making sure the fish stays upright and swims away. Heck, I still hear stories of people in Northern WI that will routinely keep muskies to eat! These are the issues that still need to be addressed, in my opinion. Let's get to the point where more people are prepared to leave that fish in the water, get it unhooked (or cut hooks if necessary), get the camera ready for a picture, get the bump board wetted down (if the person wants a measurement) and be able to do it all in 30-45 seconds. I hope that people new to the sport will see the way I do it in the videos, and it will help them to do that process better and more efficiently. Can I look at a musky and estimate size accurately? Sure....sometimes. Usually within an inch or two, but I've also been off by 4 or 5 inches. I've had guys tell me not to measure them unless they're 40". Then the next guy will say he only measures them over 44". To which another person will say they have to be over 48". It starts to feel like people are virtue signaling. The higher your number, the better person you are. Here's where I'm at. I'm a scientist by trade. I like numbers. I like to keep track of the size fish we're catching on a spring trip to Eagle Lake as opposed to a late summer trip, for example. Did high water affect the size of fish we're catching? Higher water temps vs. lower water temps? There are lots of variables, and I like looking at it as scientifically as possible. So here's where I stand. If you can relatively safely (nothing is ever perfect), measure the fish, and you want to, go for it. I don't care if it's 34" or 34 pounds. It's up to the individual who may have 2 years of musky fishing experience, or 20. If it doesn't matter to you, then pop the hooks and go onto the next one. I've found that people outside the musky world are already looking at us like we're a bunch of Prima Donna's, and this infighting that's going on amongst our ranks about measuring fish isn't helping and it scares people away from wanting to musky fish. Unlike a lot of people, I want to see more people in the sport, especially younger people. It means in the long term we can get more stocking, people will buy more baits, more people will go to the expos, so on and so forth. I'm just trying to have fun, share my joy and experience with anyone who will watch, and get more people excited about musky fishing.
First of all, he’s filming so he has an obligation to show off the fish especially when it’s for educational purposes. Brian does a great job at teaching and setting an example that is unfortunately over shadowed by comments like this that need to gate keep the size at which you can measure a fish. It’s just such a strange thing to comment over, it’s done properly, it’s done to show his viewers how to do it right. I’m blown away by how many people get so offended by measuring a fish instead of advocate for how Brian and others carefully and properly handle fish.
Totally disagree. The only reason I watch is to see how big the fish are. People like you are why fishing videos suck. Go watch Pete Maina guess if you're into that kinda thing
@AnglingAnarchy don't change a thing. You're authentic and your average musky fisherman appreciates it!
@@jonsvobodny9238 I appreciate it!
Your definitley not fishing the west arm fiding those skinny things.
@darcygross410 They're certainly anomalies in that lake for our section as well. I very rarely see fish like that!
@@AnglingAnarchy buddy had a camp on the west arm and the fish that came out of there were thickk.
Cool setup. I've got a new 19' boat and I'm trying to get my boat setup for some lake MI salmon.
I have a comedian skit I run through, works every time
😅😅
What camera is that you have as a chest mount?
@Mcgeissler88 I'm using a Hero 4 Silver. I use it more for the audio. It had one of the best mics GoPro ever had in their cameras.
Why didn’t you measure the second fish for whatever it is u message the fish for
@liamdoherty1233 I did, just edited it out because people get all touchy about it ☺️
AWESOME STUFF" EPIC BOATSIDE ACTION!
@jdean1851 Thanks dude!
Awesome work man. 👍👍👍
@sgangling Thanks Sam! I appreciate it!
Small fish are a good sign for the future of the lake. Oh, you're in Canada. Your buddies are not knuckleheads. They're Canuknuckleheads.
@thelonesomefisherman7425 Absolutely! I love catching them of all sizes!
@@AnglingAnarchy Yuppers 😊
Nothing wrong with that day Brian, your catching fish. Great video as always.
@mitchellgenz1373 Always good to have fish in the bag, regardless of size!
What a great moment you will have forever! Great catch. What kind of net is used in this video?
@518RORO That's what I love about filming! I was using a Frabill Power Catch. I don't remember the specific one, but it's one size smaller than their "Big Kahuna" net.
Hey man love your videos and I'm sorry I could have sworn I was subscribed this whole time, keep up the good content, do you have any tips for someone looking to start up their own muskie channel?
@anthonyretzlaff3117 No worries, bud! I appreciate you watching the videos! The biggest tip I could give you is to be consistent, which is hard when you're chasing muskies, lol!
A TRUE "GOLDEN BEAUTY" -IMHO!!!! GO-AA!
@jdean1851 Thanks bud!
Many years ago, I went to a college in northern NYS. About once a month, we would drive over to the duty free shop in Canada to get some Canadian beer not sold in the US. On one trip over my friend and I were his pickup truck at about midnight in the dead of Winter. It was like -20 F. We crossed over into Canada without any problems and then drove to the shop. After buying two cases of beer, we returned to the border. All the car lanes were closed so we needed to go through the lanes for semi trucks. Well, the agent was really high up and he could see right into the bed of my friend's truck. He asked if we were Americans, but never asked for IDs. (Passports were not required back then-- just a driver's license.), and then he asked about the 2 cases of beer. We answered they were for the both of us. He said, "You should know that you must pay duties on the beer." We thought that we were allowed to bring in one case each. No! it was just a six pack each. He made us wait a few minutes. Then he said, "F it! You can go." Afterwards, my friend and I came to the conclusion that he did not believe we were over 21. Plus I am sure he did not like the fact it was minus 20 F outside. We had no other problems after that in normal car lanes.
