    I have only had lucid dreams 3 or 4 times and it's been years. They always happened in a unfamiliar house. So now I picture a hallway with a bunch of closed doors and imagine that behind each door is someone I want to talk to. Once the dream was shared with my daughter and we had a hard time waking up out of it.

    Charlie, The lucid dreaming course I did with you years ago is still a great memory and inspiration. Even though the 7 consecutive false awakenings were extremely annoying back then :) Still a record, never experienced anything like that since. Hope you're well, and may you keep inspiring people always!

    Great conversation. Again and again, it's mind-blowing or better said mind-expanding to listen to the potential benefits and use-cases of the lucid dreaming practise.

    This might sound weird, but I've experienced sleep paralysis for years. It used to terrify me. Over the years, I've learnt to accept it and just embrace it. It actually gives me a bit of rush. I'm fully aware of what's going on, and it's absolutely wild.

    Some may not agree with me on this, and that’s ok but, what’s extra interesting about this man’s healing dream to me is how oil appeared to add to the milk. Anoint the sick with oil(James 5:14-15). He was obeying the message in the dream given from On High. Spiritually oil represents the Ruach(Spirit). He was in a symbolic sense applying the Oil/Ruach of YAHUAH in healing himself. I give Father the credit and praise for this innate ability to heal ourselves. That’s how we were created.

    The last time this happened to me I was trying to induce an O.B.E. via a deep meditation, the same scene played out: I am consciously aware I'm in my bed but can't move, the usual shadow aspect appears; though after many experiences and through acceptance of this some years ago, I am ready for whatever it is. This time its a small person or child like figure though with a grotesque almost comically so emoji face. I have the instinct to instantly say "Ahh I love you; you are me and I am you" (with open arms and head rolled back as if ready for a hug) "come here then. I love you, I love you". We reintegrate instantly, the slight fear I have instantly disappears and I find myself in happily in a lucid dream. As i understand it these are always shadow aspects of ourselves; parts of ourselves that we bury or deny and that those moments are a unique opportunity to accept those aspects. Through acceptance they loose their power and simply evaporate. Posting my experience here in the hope it helps someone. I would imagine praying is like making a request to your higher self to assist, so i can see why that would help too though that is if you want to wake up rather than use it for a spring board into lucid dreaming.

  • @leeabaker
    @leeabaker3 ай бұрын

    I should add that anybody can do this, you don't have to be super confident. What you may find is that your confidence is in fact boosted by overcoming these aspects 💪🏼

  • @leeabaker
    @leeabaker3 ай бұрын

    Love your clear and on point explanation about this Charlie. I can't remember whether I managed to engage and embrace this shadow aspect before I read one of your books or not either way you gave me the confidence to do this every time, so now I honestly love the idea of this paralysis state and can honestly not wait for my next one as I know it's a spring board straight into a lucid dream or O.B.E.

    I have more Lucid nightmares than lucid dreams. My nightmares feel like reality. In my nightmares, I wake up out of bed to my normal surroundings, I walk through the house and feel as though something is not right and feel the urgent need to wake up. When I was young, I used to be able to shake my head really fast and wake up. I now have to jump on something high, a clue that I am in fact dreaming cause normally I wouldn't be able to do that. Jump off the dresser and land on my head. Or jump out of a window anything to jolt me awake. I have never in my life had any sort of monsters or any weird person chasing me dream. I have always known if I am dreaming or not. Good dreams to me are like that I am watching a movie as it's being played out with me in it and I just roll with it. I only have about 7 or so dreams with minor variations. I like the dream journal idea but just have never followed though with setting it up.

    Can I rewatch this video in a lucid dream? 😄 Seriously, I still remember those childhood dreams where I knew I was dreaming. your books are my daily mantra :) Thank you Charlie!! i wish you could publish a collection of your lucid dreams. I’m constantly going through the ones you published for ideas on my lucid dreaming plan. Honestly that’s where I learned the most about communicating with sub conscience. In one lucid dream I asked to meet subconscious and I was led to a waiting room, like the ones at the doctors, and asked to take a sit, so I asked one of the dream characters how long will it be before my turn and he answered at least 3 weeks!!..anyways I feel like communicating with subconscious needs to be deeply sturdied for a better communication. Just an idea!

    i believe no one is that stupid to not realise is dead. what do you mean by lucid dreaming specifically? i personally realize i'm dreaming and control my dream from when i was 7 without training. if that's all then what? i'm enlightned? You can compare anything with death, not even a coma, you know why? because if the heart still beats and you have a functional brain and organs you experience is related to the body. No one knows what's going on after death in reality, we just find ways to calm ourself in the face of real unkwonw.
