Hi Janel - some of Alabama was swampy, but other areas were very beautiful to explore. We enjoyed our time there, it was definitely different than out west.

Nice video! Thank you! I've driven by the west entrance of the park several times (I live about two hours to the south) but have never gone into it. The wood is in the Chinle formation. I've found some small pieces (dime size) of it in road cuts along some of the paved roads in Apache county--- legal to collect BTW. I recently found about a four pound hunk on private property.

Great stop. It sure looked like a dangerous trail. EEK 😬 so, that “stir fry sauce” caught my eye is it like teriyaki sauce? Looked delicious 🤤😋 Looking forward to the petrified wood park. 🪵 🪵 🪵 🚐

The cliffs were not guarded with railing like most places and the drop-offs were no joke for sure. The sauce was like a teriyaki, soy sauce. Different for a change up of chicken.

Very interesting how they lived in the pit houses. I had to pause each historical facts post to try and read them. The cliffs looked very dangerous to get to maybe back then there was more ledges to walk on. They definitely had lots of challenges living in close quarters. I’ve enjoyed y’all’s journey!
