  Hi Janel - some of Alabama was swampy, but other areas were very beautiful to explore. We enjoyed our time there, it was definitely different than out west.

  Are there bears there? Since the caves are called bear caves? That was a nice hike but it did seem creepy at times. Ghostly vibe. 👻 you should have played some Halloween music lol

Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain. 🏝 Pretty drive through Arkansas. There’s a couple I watch on their KZread called Dome Life - Cody and Kelly. They are from Arkansas.   Thank you, Janel! We have enjoyed the boondockers/ harvest host app. We only experienced one place we weren’t happy with so far. It’s a great place to stay the night for very little money. We’ve met some great people along the way.

  I’ve seen a different video of that park with tons of it laying around. There is a trail to hike up I believe. Too bad weather wasn’t so good for y’all. I’d put that on my bucket list for sure. Nice paper plates, lol. Happy travels 🚐 cactus 🌵

  Nice video! Thank you! I've driven by the west entrance of the park several times (I live about two hours to the south) but have never gone into it. The wood is in the Chinle formation. I've found some small pieces (dime size) of it in road cuts along some of the paved roads in Apache county--- legal to collect BTW. I recently found about a four pound hunk on private property.

  Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed the video. That’s really cool that you are able to find pieces of the wood. We live in Florida and find shark teeth in our oceans and rivers. Many people have found other really cool fossils.

  The cliffs were not guarded with railing like most places and the drop-offs were no joke for sure. The sauce was like a teriyaki, soy sauce. Different for a change up of chicken.

  Very interesting how they lived in the pit houses. I had to pause each historical facts post to try and read them. The cliffs looked very dangerous to get to maybe back then there was more ledges to walk on. They definitely had lots of challenges living in close quarters. I’ve enjoyed y’all’s journey!   There wasn’t a whole lot of resting until we dropped our daughter off at the airport. Lol. On our way home, we stayed at our friends a couple days. It was a nice change for sure. Keep commenting, we enjoy them.
