My spelab valve cover just pours oil from the hoses
4 minutes in and we’re “guessing,” and “thinking.” Not very confident.
Just bought this pipe for my truck it took forever to install not the right size clamps and got it up to 15psi and the boot came off and I put the boot back on and now it won’t start wouldn’t recommend this product.
Please help. 2017 f150 3.5 eco boost. Owners manual states, as well as a google search, that the capacity is 2.75 quarts / 5.5 pints/ 88 fluid oz according to the math. With the fluid centered in the viewing window I am currently 12 ounces shy of factory specs. What should I do? Add the 12oz? Leave it? Crack the plug on the axle and wait for it to come out, then plug?

Good work! Just curious why you didn't install the rubber vent hose onto the elbow nipple before you installed the elbow into the grommet? I feel you on the road salt rust...I live in WI and vehicles rot away too fast!

I installed mine everything was easy only issue I’m having is the no gear oil is going into the ball so I don’t even know what level it’s at I put in 2.5 quarts and drove it around still won’t show the level
Hi sir, sorry for the late reply. No gear oil coming in means the oil level isn't there. You need to fill it up until you get some gear oil in. Feel free to contact us with any further questions.🥰

I’m definitely interested in getting this for my truck. What are the benefits to this other than cleaning up the engine bay a ton. Is this just to keep oil out of the intake?

Having tons of problems with mine. They don’t tell you how to run the crank case lines back up and how to route the catch can which is probably why everyone is having problems
Don’t do this my friends this will give you lots of issues down the road. This cheap parts are just that CHEAP My filter is just splashing oil after a 20min drive

@@rollinwiththefergs8117 I had the same thing so I have it different now and it’s working fine so one port goes straight to the engine block then the other port goes to my catch can and I have another hose from the catch can to the engine block

@@Pinpon-ni8vc Similar for me. Just up the road and back covered in oil. Beautiful cover, but more than just oil fumes coming out; it's pushing out and will lose a quart in no time. Retuned to stock as it had no oil issues after Delete/Tune. Stock unit with filter works great and the filter is less that $50 on Amazon. I'll just replace filters every 60K and live with the stock look as it's trouble free. Waste of money IMO for this product; I don't have faith in other $700 similar products either now that I had this issue. I don't see how the more expensive ones will do any better. Also the 2nd output on the Spelab unit caused big issues for my 2020 Ram 3500. The 2020 has a hard plastic electrical conduit in addtion to the firewall. As I only needed one port, I ended up removing the one closer to the firewall and plugging it off; this made install easy but the oil issue from the port being used is unacceptable and just collecting in a can is a bad idea given the volume coming out. I'd just end up adding more continually and emptying the can.
