I see two different shots. Left lane breaking early. Always loved Ozios classic style. Looks like loft would have been the adjustment for both of these guys

Got both of these dude's autographs 9 years prior to this event. Dave is on a mini purple Rhino Pro. Walter's is on an official Brunswick bowling pin.

I grew up with Dave bowling in Cleveland at Yorktown Lanes I would like to personally thank him for helping me land my first ball contract with track he was very instrumental in helping build that company from the ground up being one of the first players that they ever signed and he always had demo balls it had no writing on them just testing balls all the time for them he also helped me get out on tour also can't thank him enough 😢

Watch the clip at the end just before WRW goes up in the 10th frame and has the issue with the microphone. Turn up the volume at 14:06 and someone whispers, "he's pissed." I just love that competitive spirit, the fact that he could be upset but still focus and concentrate without whining and complaining. Just without a doubt the greatest pro bowler in history.

Really miss Saturday's PBA on ABC. When everybody had a fair chance of making the telecast. Now they managed to give the opportunity to the same 10 guys.

Yup. PBA is getting a bit monotonous because it’s always the same guys every week.

It's easy to say this now but I have often wondered what would have happened if one player had encountered a condition like this and simply refused to throw reactive equipment. This condition would have been much easier with a nice pancake urethane ball, something like that Bobcat Pete Weber used a couple years prior. I really feel that if a player like Ozio had a urethane ball in his hand on this shot, he could easily have been able to grind out a 220. And just a footnote, I swear on my life I posted this comment before the announcers started talking about the same exact thing lol!
