Ever since I was a young girl I’ve been a bargain hunter, just like my Dad! He taught me that price isn’t necessarily and indicator of value & quality and that you can find great products at many different stores, which is why I like to scour the internet to bring you finds from a multitude of sources!
I love combining my passions of interiors & bargain hunting to help you design a home that’s both beautiful & budget-friendly. My philosophy involves blending a few “reasonable splurges” with amazing bargain finds to achieve a high end look you’ll love!

Where did you get the dinosaur room nightstand(s)? I love the slipcover beds and the murals! Both rooms are fresh & uncluttered, but have a space (closet) for their personal items. Beautiful work!

I’m going to use the stone as a shower floor and the wall tile but doing something different for the bathroom floor. Any recommendations? This is for a flip house 😍

I think the mural in your 13 year olds room would’ve been really pretty on all the walls not just the one
I think it would have felt like a dark forest in there, especially without light from windows.
Your design aesthetics must be rubbing off on your kids. They made great choices for the wall murals. It all flows with the rest of your home.
Oh, my oldest has MANY opinions on my design. I was just joking with him an hour ago calling him my design assistant 😂

I'm so happy my adult daughters want to move back to raise their children there. I look forward to many more videos hopefully vlog style.

Lots of work into these rooms! I really like the texture and different materials of the rug, marble etc. You've put so much thought into it. I'm shocked you have this many rooms down this fast! I think it's smart to do neutrals ..then you can add or not later. I agree about the barn doors. I have one on my pantry and they are so great! Sometimes a swinging door isn't very convenient.

@@DesignLovesDetail also I want to comment that I think some people fail to realize that when you are on camera these rooms look whiter/brighter than in person! My home has a lot of warms/neutrals but in pictures it looks so white. Anyway ls who cares! It's your house! You're obviously talented and beautiful! Loooove the tree mural!

The room is to cold like HOSPICE HOSPITAL ROOM !!! The entire house Luke's super cold like that every word is the same way you see the same color the problem when you talk is that you talk with your teed close up like talking to yourself hard to understand you ❤

Rooms kind of lack color and character-seems a bit depressing if I’m being completely honest. Maybe its the colorless murals, or maybe the monotone bedding. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but the rooms as they appear, just don’t seem to align with the young ages of your boys. N

Heyya Mollie and Ben. This space is AmaZing! It does need finishing touches to get it just where YOU feel and know--THIS.IS.IT. So, my thoughts for whatever they're worth. I love the mirror, but not necessarily in this room or location. I do not think one should try to convince themself into something; they should like it or not. I think doubt = don't. I think you like it but want something more IMHO. I don't know if you could add another layer behind it to customize it or try something else. Designers always do repeation in spaces, so an arch mirror would do that, but that's an expected cookie cutter idea that has been done everywhere and you seem to be breaking the molds at this house. Go with your gut instinct either way to keep it or ditch it! I love round mirrors and I bought one decades ago with a thin black matte metal edge for my then boyfriend now husband and we never take it down. Its in our kitchen now opposite the window to reflect in light. I also love live edges and wondered if you could have a round one custome made. I think that would be organic, interesting, and cool. I also like your rug style for that space, but agree with you that it should be bigger and thought you could try layering in a beautiful natural fiber rug made or hemp, sisal, silk, or whatever. And before I write an essay here😅, I will quickly tell you to add a tree, a beautiful small ottoman to kick your feet up by that awesome fireplace, get a ginormous basket for cozy/,soft blankets, and finally customize some large family photo books for that beautiful coffee table. Make this space have hyyge! Cant wait to see the art. I have done art and design my whole life so I share this passion bringing it into ones home and how meaningful it truly is! ❤️😊❤ 😊😊❤❤ SO... I added in all my ideas, but you do whatever you love and I know I'm gonna like it because you have a wonderful sense of style. Bless you both and all who actually read my little essay here. Hahaha😊❤😅
