When I was a teenie "Detroit Rock City" made me so deeply sad. When Paul was singing "I'm gonna die", tears were falling😭. "Destroyer" is a great imposing album. Rock💥 and pure emotion ❤. Bob Ezrin's children👶 and the choir boys singing against the "demonic" Gene in "God Of Thunder" this is genius. Still in 2024 KISS💋
My ranking of Uriah Heep albums as a long-time fan at 33 years old: 1. Sweet Freedom 2. Salisbury 3. Return to Fantasy 4. Wonderworld 5. Demons and Wizards 6. Very 'Eavy... Very 'Umble 7. The Magician's Birthday 8. Look at yourself. 9. High and Mighty The rest doesn't live up to the band's level.
The parents kept me away from 'Those Hippies" .. but oh boy, if this had have found me at 12 when it was released .. I sure could have used it back then .. but then I wouldn't have gone on the Journey that I took, I suppose. On Father's day .. instead of imagining "Don't Cry" as a love song from a man to a woman, picture it from the Father to his children, all of them little darlings, who do what they want, and forget at times that their Father loves them.

2024 I'm still loving this album.
Can't believe it was 1991 before i got into this great group. They are just SO underrated that it's not true. And this LP must be one of their best.
And they labeled this band and others at this time as satanic,HaHaHa.... ....
