Not in camp area but later in the year I hiked up to Matlock lake and high on a ridge separating Matlock and Gilbert lakes, just off the trail between the two I was surprised to get a decent Verizon signal and a pheonominal view.

Thanks, my goal is to only recognize if you've been there and not give anything away. Just started carrying a folding saw and plan to start doing some work too, there is so much tho and new trees are down every week it seems and brush in the creeks is crazy thick.

@@ml5955 Yes, My other video "A bad place to stop" is the upper part of the same trail It's technically all closed now but my route in is the only unfenced and unmarked entry/ exit

@@Trail_Trash nice 👍. I wish they would reopen that area. So many awesome old trails there. Last time I did that trail was 05 or 06 on my 2005 KTM EXC 450. Most of my ridding is in Arizona now. We got a really awesome place that has tons of single track. The trails are a little rocky and it does not have the awesome hill climbs of the Jawbone area, but the single track makes up for it with multiple 30 to 50 + mile loops.

I use to go to the Mojave desert we all used to go on long rail rides and one time, we went on this rocky path and on the way there there was a train track I’ve never been too close to a train track there was a long foot train it was super loud it almost looked like the polar express train you know where it’s about a little boy who goes to the North Pole that kinda train but it was just a train not real but it had a real 👩✈️ in the train but since the rain came we stopped going we were going to go on thanksgiving but that was canceled 😞 but hey we may go on April on Easter 🐣 time question, how on earth is the Ester bunny 🐰 going to get there, will we don’t know how it’s going to travel to a far away desert 🌵 but we will see
