I’m all about making everything LOOK as good as possible. Whether it’s a bunch of action figures, lego sets, or anything else - I’m always striving for perfection. I know I’ll achieve it but it keeps me entertained to try.
I collect action figures, comic books, and LEGO. My collection is primarily made up of Marvel and DC, with my favorite lines to collect being Marvel Legends, Mezco, Mafex, and LEGO Star Wars.

I kinda liked the Unibeam pose on Iron Man but you’re right I could do better, we’ll see what I can cook up in the new location
@@dantedisplays maybe if he was more open like arms out to the side but like he’s doing a curl and legs a little more at v. Kind of like the magneto 97 promo pics for red costume but with one bent at the knee a little

Dang that’s a hard one… I think it would have to be (in no particular order) 1. Mafex Magento 2. Toy Biz Sentinel BAF 3. Mezco Wolverine 4. X-Men 97 Cyclops w custom head 5. Mezco Captain America 6. 80th Anniversary Iron Man 7. Mezco Punisher 8. BTAS Batman 9. BTAS Joker 10. Mezco Superman I think that would leave me with a pretty balanced collection with all my favorite characters and the highest quality figures
@@dantedisplays I like it. I’ve been pondering this question for the last week and I still haven’t finalized my list. That Mezco Wolverine and 80th Anniversary Iron Man are definitely on the list though.

What a great collection 😅! I love figures and the Legos! I keep looking at the X-MEN 97 blackbird at Walmart and today I found a VENOM with motorcycle Lego at Walmart. I love the X-MEN shelf and the Lego Clone helmets! The collection is great sorry you have to move but good luck!😂

Thanks for showing your X-Men villain collection. Right now, I have Mafex Magneto (the best-looking figure I have, lol), Sabretooth, and Juggernaut. I plan to collect only the famous X-Men villains. Next is Apocalypse. After that, I have no idea, lol. What other villains would you consider?
That’s a really good start! As for who to get next I would say a Sentinel🔥 They are definitely one of the most iconic X-Men foes

Well, I have 3 displays of X-Men Villains. I have a 20 + 1 Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, which is 20 Mutants plus Juggernaut. Two of them are X-Men I'm not a fan of; Kid Omega and Chamber with a Half Blazing Skull Johnny Blaze headswap which actually looks better IMHO. I then have a 7 + 7 +3 Hellfire Club. 7 Inner Circle, 7 Goons, 3 Reavers. Sebastian Shaw, Donald Pierce, Mastermind, Selene, Madelyne Pryor, Phoebe Frost, and Dorian Grey. On the 3rd shelf is my cobbled together Sentinel Army. 1 12" Toy Biz Sentinel 4 Titan 12" Sentinels 6 8" tall Sentinels 4 Omega Sentinels 1 3 headed Sentinel Nimrod as Nimrod prime 5 Toy Biz Nimrods as Nimrod drones And considering that I have 53 + 1 X-Men divided into 4 Teams I need all the Villains I can get. I have divided my Teams more along Original intent of the various teams rather than Comic Book accuracy. X-Factor was intended to be the Public Face of Mutants so I put the more popular and Photogenic Mutants there. X-Force was intended to be the Lethal Strike Team so the ones willing to kill, plus Nightcrawler and Kitty as scouts. Still a New Mutants but they are more like a 21 Jump street team of finding and protecting emerging Mutant kids.
Love the display man! Totally awesome! X-men villains are my favorite marvel legends to pose and display! One guy I’d add if you have the figure to just make it pop, right on the left like in the air above toad in flight the Sauron BAF would look sick! That’s my favorite BAF! 👍🏻

It's nice but with what you paid for everything, you could have gotten the best Cyclops made which is Mafex and have everything you ever need with him. Also, that custom head sculpt, when it's facing us, the right side on the cheek should be painted the blue because it's his cowl. But one side is correct and the the other is flesh color. It's that line on the cheek.
You might think I’m crazy but I actually don’t love the look of the Mafex Cyclops figure, which is super rare for me! I usually always think the Mafex figures are by far the best versions of the characters but not with Cyclops for some reason. I still think he looks good, but I wouldn’t pay $100 for him like I would with Magneto for example
@@dantedisplays That's crazy haha. To me, he is up there with Gambit (as the best looking) but pricing is definitely better when you shop import sites. Those prices were the normal $70 - 85. But overall, your displays are always so nice and clean looking. Love it.

Also I agree with you about the blue paint, it technically should be covering the line, but since it’s done by hand and still looks so clean I’m okay with it
For $40.00 that head should fit perfectly. I would ask for my money back.
Casting Cave actually offered to fix it!Said the socket must’ve shifted when he was socketing it, and that he’d be happy to resocket it. I know what you mean but I don’t think it’ll be a common thing

@@Therealones745 I see, I actually like the squareness and don’t feel it looks too long, and in terms of the blue I can see what you mean but I’m fine with it. I also just really despised the original head 😂

@@ThatGenericPyro personally speaking I think it's fine. I saw same video. I guess its(to me) one of thous things that looks better in hand. But the color matches perfectly and I seem to get any pose I want. The warlock one is not as good. Color is little off. But I think the 3 pack is just fine.

Why not use VHS head?, which is more classic look, this other is more videogame look, bc the studio behind the new series is a korean one.
Because I don’t have the VHS head, I never got that figure. It also has the shading on the visor which I would’ve had to take off
@@dantedisplays I actually want to get the head of the Warlock BAF wave Cyclops, but that doesn't sit well in this ball joint either, so I picked VHS, just for a more classic look.
Red hulk, mojo, apocalypse, one day if he is ever made mephisto. I’m still mad at the EOV not being funded. What a missed opportunity. Five figures, a car with 21 led lights two car modes. Goblin queen never have forgiven the “toy community” for their lack of vision.
Red Hulk is a good one! Kinda want to get that Marvel Select but worried about space. I have apocalypse with my X-Men Villains! And yeah I wasn’t too into Marvel Legends at the time but it would’ve been cool to get Mephisto for sure

The head sculpt from Casting Cave is perfection however it’s worth more than the figure itself. An optic blast should’ve been included or something.
Yeah it is pricey! I wouldn’t normally upgrade but for cyclops I had to
I would 100% stick with the original headsculpt. Mainly, I the head is not made to sit on this body hence it can't be articulated well and will drop,and I am someone who would take my figure and fidget with it. Secondly, the headsculpt does not sit flushed in as well as leaving a big gap which is a deal-breaker for me. However, I do agree that if you are only going to display it and look at him from the front from a distance, it would obviously be a choice for you, but for me, No. Thanks for sharing and great video.

The smirk and the redish brown hair is terrible imo.
Yeah the smirk and baby face just don’t do it for me. And I’m colorblind so I didn’t even notice the hair being off😂, does it not like that in the show?
@@dantedisplays I mean it is portrayed to be a much lighter brown? But it almost looks like a reddish orange to me, idk cyclops hair has always been a dark brown, at least to me?

He is based on the videogame X-Men vs Street Fighter, he looks like that in this game. The series has a lot of influence on videogames, bc the studio behind the series is a korean one, so they knew the characters for the videogames.
It's a nice head but personally I find it to be too detailed. Especially when you compare it to the rest of the body.
In person from a foot or more away I don’t notice those details and to me it looks like a stock head just done well, but I can definitely see where you’re coming from, especially if you look at the figure up close

Nice looking head! I had my VHS Cyk on hand and your head looks a little better! 😮 I would probably use my Dremel to slightly deepen the hole a tad to make it perfect. I probably won't get this head cause the VHS is still not too bad,but I did buy a wired cape for STORM. She's now feels like a premium figure! I'm debating on a wired leather coat for Gambit! 😅I'm glad you're enjoying the hobby!😅
Yeah if I had the VHS head sculpt I probably wouldn’t have gotten this one, that one looks great! And a wired cape probably makes that Storm figure look 🔥🔥

I collect X-Men Marvel Legends exclusively (with a few exceptions) and when I had them on display I only put up the villains. Awesome display
X-Men villains are a good group to go with!
