ATV-TALK Podcast

ATV-TALK Podcast

My father, Danny Duncan, who gave me my first ride on an ATC 90, the year 1969, got me hooked. Starting on three wheelers moving to the modern ATVs, has taken me around the world for 30 years, mostly as a mechanic, with some racing stories of my own. This gives me a perspective that will allow me to take you backwards and forward in time to talk to our ATV heroes from old and new times. Why ATV-TALK? My answer is that we all have a story to tell. Not only do I have a story to tell, but the amazing men and women in the ATV industry have stories to tell. There's no outlet, no way to tell their stories. I want to let everyone's story be heard. There are so many amazing things that happened, that the fans or the general population never get to hear. In ATV-TALk you'll get to hear about your hero. For ATV off road enthusiasts. We talk from rigid three wheelers to present day ATV's, motorcycles, and UTVs. There is no age barrier nor gender, everyone is welcome. ATV-TALK travels world wide.

    the personality difference between Josh and John are like night and day lol, always been. I remember my first National at Unadilla 2006, I got an autograph from John Natalie and he gave me a knuckle smash, I bragged about that for years. closest I had ever been to a hollywood superstar

    so cool to see an episode on him. i had the pleasure of chasing one of his teammates (Dofo), in probably Wayne`s last baja 1000 on an ATV, about 10 years ago (along with Wes miller and Dofo Arelllano) and it was a dream come true for me, to be a small part of that race.

    The CR went water cooled in 81 the 1980 CR was chrome bore center exhaust port air cooled with non motor mount head... I've also read in a magazine that in 86 the bike cylinder will bolt to the atc bottom end , just need to lock the power valve open, as the bike porting was more aggressive because of the versatility of a power valve

    Can’t argue with the ride ability of the 450 machines from Honda and Yamaha. I had a banshee, traded it in for a 2004 yfz450 when I started to race motocross. The 450 was SUPERIOR on the track but with that said, I loved the banshee fun factor every where else I took it. Fast forward 2 decades and I picked up a 1999 banshee fully clapped out for a top to bottom restoration. No OEM build, almost a full aftermarket recreational monster with 75 HP

    I feel like people are being told to let Joel win , just so he can have the perfect season and be the first to do it . Just like in the factory days when they would tell the other racers on a team to let this guy win . Hoag and Ford have shown they are faster . Until they let him by to win .

    Remember the “ rebel racer “ ? It was a trx250r aftermarket chassis and I think it had a Rotex engine

  • @867diesel
    @867dieselАй бұрын

    Honda has the cheapest most basic crap in the Atv market . The only time Honda made anything good was 1989 and down . But hell to me the trx250r isn’t worth a crap as oem . The cheap crap frames and oem suspension and all . The only part of that bike that was good is the engine . Aftermarket frames are stronger and handle better . People need to stop supporting a company that doesn’t want anything to do with this sport .
