  The movie includes scenes that don’t impact the story, like the main character’s interactions with the boss’s family. These scenes don’t add depth to the characters or advance the plot, making them "fillers" and filler is the new character development? Thanks for the update, professor! 😜 I guess I just don’t appreciate the art of making viewers fall asleep. I appreciate you're comment though;) And If you do think otherwise, please share you're example of how in the world these fillers are character development and long boring shots in the dark build tension. Share it with us 😉

  This movie was terrible. It's biggest crime was it was totally BORING. And I totally agree on the character of Longlegs. He wasn't scary, or demented or dangerous. Just looked like a crazy old bum that had wandered in off the street. Beyond that was the fact that the explanation of the mystery that the movie hints near the beginning is actually the final explanation at the end!! I could not believe it. Spoiler ahead for the movie 'Psycho'.... Imagine 'Psycho' if there was a scene in the first half hour where Marion Crane speculated that Norman was the one playing his mother's personality. That's Longlegs.
