Could you use this on a range door?
It looks like it was painted with a paint roller. Pretty cool regardless. I didn’t know you could wrap wood like that.
Looks pretty cool. Nice job.
can they been install on block walls?
Not this type of vinyl - there are special vinyls that can be heated and pressed into the brick texture/mortar with a foam roller.
Does it damage the wood surfaces?
It might if you pull it off. It depends if the wood is old and brittle. Bad clear coat. Etc
would this be easy to clean
Yes more durable than paint
3M has done testing with a long list of cleaning chemicals - architectural films hold up against virtually every domestic cleaning chemical, see this document (pages 4-7): cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0834/4341/files/DI-NOC_Tech_Data_Sheet_RP_May_2021.pdf?v=1650472251
Man thank you for this video. Seriously. You went above and beyond
If i order some would you ship pre cut size to in New Zealand??
Yes we always do. Email your address to see how much it will cost to ship to you. [email protected]
At first glance before you open the door I thought it was going to be a toaster oven with a glowing inside, you got me as a refrigerator though😊
I would think fiberglass or 3m panel bond be better for such large gaps if your gonna fill them in.
This is SO cool!
Initially I couldn't figure out why someone would do this. Then I saw the end result and I though it maybe was a good way to spruce up an old frige. And then you said $750.... No absolutely not.
To be fair, the $750 cost we give in the video is for the 10 yards or so it took to wrap the fridge AND the cabinets on the wall next to it as well (see the video before this one on our channel). Still, I totally get it - for your average garage "beer fridge", it doesn't make a lot of fiscal sense. Afterall, it doesn't make the fridge cool things any better! We work in these materials professionally - usually in banks, hotels, commercial buildings, cruise ships, private jets, etc. We happened to have some extra material laying around from another project that was otherwise going to go to waste, so after the cabinet project/video we still had enough laying around to make the fridge match, and we've never seen someone wrap a fridge in Di-Noc before, so we figured why not show people what's possible. I got the fridge free from a family member, so even if I had to buy the wrap material at retail cost, it's not a super crazy cost compared to how expensive brand new refrigerators are nowadays, and it's pretty bespoke.
What would you use to smooth out any small dints or damage to a panels before wrapping?
We like to use Bondo (either their glaze that's pre-activated or the stuff you have to mix with activator), or 3M white Acryl Putty
My cabinet doors are so light
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE IN THE END?????
Thank you for this helpful walk through!
Too much outward stretch. Should have tugged down a bit more and would have removed the finger. Also, shrink your wrap before you cut.
How do you do the corners on top?
Are you still printing with the HP latex?
Yes use it Everyday
@@RMwrapsllc Are you happy with going down the latex route? Or, with hindsight, would you choose differently? I love the idea of latex ink, with all it’s pros (if you believe all the marketing) But does it live up to the hype, from a production point of view? A follow up vid on your printer would be nice🙂
I made a video of The fridge
As a Certified Di-Nock installer I approve this tutorial. Great info here and love your content. We always lay our material out flat 24 hours prior to installation, it helps lose memory and makes the material more pliable. You are spot on about the prep, it will blister and bubble up otherwise. I also have found Romans 555 thinned down and injected behind the Di-Nock will fix stubborn bubbles. Fenco WallCovering here , Tulsa Oklahoma.
Thank you for your input and I glad you liked the video.
My problem is those tiny looks like a spec of dirt but no it's a Mini Air bubble
I really like the way you made it, but how can you help me to get tools and materials like that you are using

Thank you for this tutorial. I feel confident about doing it myself after seeing this..thank you!
How meters did you use to wrap the fridge
We don't make our wraps in meters. We measure each part of the fridge being wrapped and print each piece of vinyl specifically to fit.
Great video is there any way you please help me figure out how to explain 1” overlap to my boss and designer at our wrap shop we had the most frustrating back and forth conversation of trying to explain the 1“ overlap or bleed is said as “I would need 1” overlap “then they keep saying “okay so you want 1/2” overlap to equal 1”.” I don’t no how else to tell them I want 1” overlap it driving me bonkers😂
How do you wrap the back ???
Really "nice looking" product. The prices are ridiculous thought; i'll just go to the competitors. My desk is 30" x 140" and you're charging me 241 + taxes for WRAPPING when on the other hand, they are charging me 67$.
We don't charge taxes, though we do charge shipping. Our pricing is based on the facts that we use top-of-the-line 3M vinyl with air release channels and the 3M name/warranty behind that, and we're doing all of our design, production, and shipping in the USA. We could barely produce and ship a print 140' for that price with 0 profit - when you take into account shop overhead costs and labor, we'd lose money if we tried to compete with the cheap prices you can find online from companies shipping out of China or Ukraine.
Cant find it on the site 😢

mine are shaker with thermofoil - and after 7 years, the ones particulart by - you guessed it - oven (heat) and heavily used (utensil drawer) as well as many other - are cracked, peeling, and whole foil sheet would lift right up if I pulled it. I will of course do all - even in white (which is on it now) to get a consistent new look / match up - hoping maybe one or two a weekend - or even take to work and do over my lunch hour (that we are now forced to take). Maybe all the men I work with will oversee and not like the way I do it and HELP ME! I am an old school woman - this is men's work - but I have no man - so will have to do myself. Other stuff like flooring/dryway repairs/paint I will have to pay for professional - but think I can do this project myself - and safe several thousand. Purchasing shaker cabinet doors and drawer fronts (these are flat) would cost me several+ thousald dollars. I really like the 'quiet' pattern of the black used in this vid. I am thinking that white with with same pattern my help hide and corner flaws? Any thoughts? Def only a couple a weekend so I don't get frustrated and screw up my wrap work. :)😂
I wonder what the realistic longevity of these things is, Basic maintenance but just failure in general
If properly installed, potentially decades. 3M Di-Noc is the material that was used on station wagons and Jeep Wagoneers back in the 70's. we regularly get requests from customers who are restoring those old vehicles - unless a vehicle has been left forgotten in the sun for many years, the vinyl itself is usually in okay condition and still fully adhered, the color has just faded from UV. In a boat like this, fading over time is possible with how much sunlight comes in, but that won't cause the adhesive to fail. What can happen is water can make its way inside (usually through a bad seal or improperly sealed seam somewhere in the top deck) and saturate the wall behind the vinyl, which will cause it to lose adhesion and fall off. If that doesn't happen and the boat is maintained, there's not really anything that can cause the vinyl to fail.
Great video!!!
How are these wrappings holding up in the kitchen? Any updates?
Did my cabinet 4 years ago and still look great. Only a few little places that I need to fix. Here the video you can watch. kzread.infoj68Ygj3Nk5E?si=v6oN5fiFe04IvUik I’ll do an update video soon.
Do you know it’s temperature range?
idw.global/blog/products/generic/single-door-refrigerators/g-3-countertop-cooler/
This older fridge has "Texture" in the metal. If you want to show the texture thru the film, I'm assuming you need to heat and press the film into the texture with a type of roller, sponge, other? How do you mange that? Thanks!
Normally just put the vinyl on the texture fridge and call it good. The vinyl will be fine not heating sinking it in.
What's that link for those stands you used for the door?
www.rockler.com/rockler-bench-cookie-plus-work-grippers-master-kit
Would have lookes better if the pattern was going in the same direction
Can this be done on washers and stoves ?
Dishwasher door and oven door.
Will it hide dents ?
@Dwentgroupchannel you will need to Bondo it first and then wrap it
(This is Tom, not Sandra.) I wish you could have filmed a much longer and more detailed video of this business. It was waaaay too short and NOT detailed enough. These gems from "yesteryear" should have been highlighted much longer, l believe. Will you be filming anymore from this place anytime soon? Thanks for sharing this video, sir!! (Tom)
It’s someone personal house.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes we do - shipping is auto-calculated at checkout on our website.
I have an lg with a glass window on the door. What’s the best way to do it?
Can you text us what your fridge looks like? 208-696-1180. Or [email protected] do you want a color or a design you see on the website.
