    Any bacteria- or fungi-related hazard?

  • @TridentTNZ
    @TridentTNZ Жыл бұрын

    Great questions. There are many pathogens in manure, which is why adequate treatment and management is so important. In our experience, the removal of fine solids is critical. Depending on what the dairy’s specific requirements are, there is also add-on options like thermal drying or composting.

    How heavy can the recovered nutrient be applied?

  • @TridentTNZ
    @TridentTNZ4 жыл бұрын

    There are several factors that would impact land application practices: nutrient management requirements, soil conditions, crop, weather etc. Keep in mind that this treatment also offers advantages for handling and storage prior to field application. The recovered nutrient solids are concentrated, with a lot of the water removed. That means far less volume and storage requirements, and easier to handle. The water sent to the lagoon has very little solids left, reducing the need for expensive lagoon cleanouts. For more details please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-799-3740.

    Great job on this video Trident team. I think it's the best video you've done to date; information a farmer can readily see, understand and identify with. And, the end call to action mentioning the ROI calculator is disarming and compelling. I hope this video gets pushed out well and gets a lot of views by farmers.
