I believe this one is could very well be Rhododendron 'Mandarin Lights' Azalea 😌. Flame Azalea doesn’t appear to take the same form as far as the ball-like clusters of blooms. The stamens on Flame Azalea appear to be much longer. Either way they are both so beautiful! The color is not common! There is also ‘Gibraltar’ Azalea Rhododendron and ‘Tangerine Delight’ Azalea of similar coloring. Lots to choose from out there!

I BOUGHT 4 LAST YEAR, DID BEAUTIFUL, SPRING TIME THEY ARE DEAD
@FloraAnthology3 ай бұрын
They enjoy full sun and soil that is more sandy for quick drainage. If your soil is heavy and thick, that might be an issue. It may be that they require 6-8 hours of full sunlight. My neighbor planted them curbside in the soil and only a few bloom appeared with full sunlight. Could be that these particular plants are more prone to be environmentally sensitive. Also, they are summer flowers so perhaps they’ll revive in the later months?! 🌸

OMG like I literally just saw this in Lowes and fell in love. I don't have a green thumb. Does this have to be re planted in a pot OR can I just set the whole plant over in a ceramic pot and care for it that way?
@FloraAnthology3 ай бұрын
Planting is unique to everyone and the environment. Plants needs, temp, humidity, soil quality, sunlight exposure all vary based on the location where you reside so it takes time to get it ‘right.’ Some say yes! to repotting plants right out of the plastic nursery pots into visually appealing planters while others say give the plants several days the become acclimated to their new environment. Hi! You can keep the calla lillies in the nursery pot if the plant is not root-bound. If it is root-bound, you can use a ceramic pot with a hole at the bottom along with some pebbles at the bottom to keep the soil from escaping. Calla lilies thrive in moist soil and warmer locations. It’s also suggested to give them diluted plant food approximately once a month. I’ve always repotted my plants into a container that is 2-3 inches in diameter wider than the nursery pot to keep the plant from becoming water logged. A larger planter will do if you plan on accommodating a greater quantity of plants. It’s always good to avoid overwatering. Thanks for watching and commenting !

They are beautiful but mine always get powdery mildew even in 5 hours of direct sun. Any advice?
@FloraAnthology4 ай бұрын
It very well could be plant maintenance. It is a common in my neighborhood. Especially the roses in just about every garden. I would suggest sterilizing your garden tools after pruning and such. Making sure to clean up the infected plant debris that were infected and discarding them appropriately- not in the compost though. Powdery mildew usually spreads in the wind and favors humidity surrounding the plant. Consider giving your garden enough ‘breathing room’ by providing space between plants to minimize clustering and maximizing air flow. Spirea really thrives in tons of sunlight!
