You saved me :) now the neighbors will be able to listen to the sounds of the hawk instead of feeding the pigeons that pollute my balcony windows :) THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Using lots of these videos to drive out blackbirds, who are picking into every cherry on the three just once, resulting in all of them cherries rotting and going to be natural waste. Blackbirds are difficult to run out, as they are arrogant, fearless and are even attacking sheep (! - seen this with my own eyes).

I built 2 Screech Owl houses one over 2 years ago and mounted on a 20 foot pole, this Spring I saw a Screech Owl in it!! They have since been permanent residents!! This Spring I built another one and got it up. I hope I didn`t put it too close to the other one. They look so cute sitting in the hole. I wish I could send some pictures!! Joe

Literally just heard my fav Barred Owl @SpeingvaleCampground where my RV campsite overlooks a marsh surrounded by mostly deciduous trees. I called back to this hoot, it responded, changed it's call into two short Morris code style hoots. Hoot-Hoot.. hooo x2. When I responded Barred did 1x then silence. Fascinating. Fill moon, clear skies, chilly @40°F, slight breeze,, Starz Galore 5/25/24 @12:10am.

A pair of nesting mockingbirds are dive-bombing my cat who is an indoor kitty, he is just watching through the window, but they are so aggressively squawking at my windows that my neighbor actually complained about the noise! I put my laptop next to the window and played this track with the red-tailed hawk sounds, since we do have red tails around here, and they flew off and the annoying squawking finally stopped, for now, anyway. Thank you!

Hey it’s 8:35 pm west of Atlanta Ga in Haralson County I’ve got four Barred Owls in my yard talking away I’ve lived here since 1984 & probably the mid 90’s they’ve been coming out pretty much every day and night and my wife son & myself were out one night late 90’s and had one land within 3’ of us we looked at each other and back at him and he looked us over no one said a word then flew up in a tree and got my wife to go get camera and I took pictures for the next 30 minutes of 3 then my neighbor has land that joins ours he had his land cut they left for the next 4 to 5 years and I’ve called out every day and 4 have showed back up and I was outside late one night about 3 weeks ago and one landed 10’ from me and he & I just stood and looked at each other for a few minutes and he hopped up in the trees it’s an amazing bird to see and I’m grateful to be able to have them around and you know it’s kinda crazy but it doesn’t matter what time of day or night I walk out they start talking usually one then not long it’s four of them they leave for a hour or two then they come back and sorry for the book I’ve wrote but I get excited talking about them to people my wife is afraid their going to attack me and they might but I feel like they get a laugh at me trying to talk with them whooo knows anyway everybody take care and hope everyone gets to experience what I’ve been blessed with ✌️🫵🫵

Didn’t mind your lengthy description at all. They have no reason to attack you. I have what Bard Owl Sanctuary in my back yard in East Point (“in the city”). They’ve preferred my back yard over the other yards since 1995. They were just conversating but are quiet now (at least 3) behind & above my bedroom. I puzzled them by playing some Bard Audio in the bedroom. It’s 3:23. I’m certain that they heard the audio since it clearly silenced them. They realized the calls were not from their group. I’ve purchased several night vision binocs to use out back but haven’t because they are Always early AM visitors. Also, I’m not sure the type, but had an owl stalk my laying hens from above (well before sunset one day). 16 x 16 foot chain linked bird cage/enclosure with a chicken wire roof stumped his stealthy tail! They’ve moved to the front yard. It’s Nod Time.
