In our opinion it's made for filter coffee. But if you are looking for good espresso you can change it to Turkish burr.

I've had one experience with this brand of machine and it sucked. Made a horrible flat white and latte. Basically it squirts warm milk into the cup and then dribbles a tiny quantity of tasteless brown stuff into it. It's a menace to society, but will save companies heaps of money because users will only try this once. Flat white is not luke warm milk with a bit of coffee dribbled into it afterwards. Terrible, just terrible. I'm not sure why it has dual output nozzles for each cup, since it's obviously a single shot machine and not a properly made espresso machine.

ECM Classica is a great machine. Stainless steal boiler, no hoses in the water reservoir and a supremely built and finish. Marzocco and Lelit are using stainless steel boilers as well. Bezzera is using copper boilers and there are hoses in the water reservoir which is putting me off. The espresso is tasting superb. As for making a cuppucino I do prefer first pulling a shot then steamng the milk. This it's more comfortable and relaxing than the other way round.

Thank for the review. I find it puzzling that at the end of the shot the temperature dropped from 93 to 88 as shown on the PID's display. I was hoping this machine keeps the actual temperature very close to the set temperature...

That is normal. It has nothing to do with the actual brew temp that is being applied on the puck which is constant all the way.
